Alvaro Castagnet is my favourite Watercolour Artist. I have learned a lot from his painting technique. Composition, colour theory, sketching.....Since childhood I was fond of watercolour ...dark rich colours...but couldn't manage properly until I saw his paintings. His paintings has changed my life. I am indebted to him. colours I often use ; Scarlet Lake, Crimson Lake, Chinese White , Cobalt Blue , Ultamarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Burnt Sienna, Indian Yellow, Ocher Yellow, Orange, Vermillion Hue, Payne's grey, Mauve and Ivory Black sometimes. So keep practicing...its a great journey of disappointment and learning.... don't loose patience..... keep practicing... you will see remarkable difference in just 6 months. bye Goodluck ...take care. thank you so much for watching!!!! this is a 'hand made paper' which i use for watercolour paintings...!!! this is a local product of very low quality, but its very good to develop your skills to use different types of papers differently!
