First of all can we just talk about that set of pipes! Girl you can sing! What a lovely voice.😊 In my humble opinion tackling DD with a babe is challenging but a one month old is so much easier to attempt it with than an older babe because they sleep a lot more. My best tips are to Write-Everything-Down and set your expectations low and/or give yourself grace to finish it later. When I had Joseph (almost 6 years ago 😱) I started my album but after he was born I only finished a handful more pages that year and finished the album up another year. Which I was mostly able to do because I made sure I spent 5 minutes or more just writing out what happened that day. But that’s because I’m committed to the daily format. I think your idea of just having a highlight reel is great especially if it makes this super fun project easier for you. And yes I agree Crate Paper is so good at sucking us in. 😂Happy December Daily Season to you too

Marybeth Hancher I have a handmade TN insert I have been documenting daily into and after Christmas I will attempt to do the double 12×12 spread in my album of project life for 2018 I don't do a whole album for Christmas but I do give it a 2 page spread! I to like to pick papers that coordinate with my pictures. I'm waiting until after Christmas only because I got a Canon selphy printer for Christmas sitting under the tree, which will make it all so much easier!! I love watching your process and your stories so heart warming!
I'm using snow and cocoa this year it literally took me all year to track the stuff down as it's kind of an old collection and then of course crate paper comes out with this adorable line 🙈 I'm going for the easy approach this year too more of a tiny (3x8) traditional scrapbook. No pocket pages or anything. I like your idea of keeping it all in a tote so you can take it to where the baby is instead of trying to move a sleeping baby 😂 stealing that idea! thanks for sharing!
I LOOOOOVE Snow and Cocoa!!!! I have just a tiny bit of it leftover from a couple years ago and I swear I save like every scrap of paper that I cut. Hahaha A 3x8 size sounds so cute!! I've never done one that small, but I'd love to try it sometime!!! You'll have to let me know how it goes. ;) Yes, that tote- In the past few weeks I've basically put half my craft room in totes because I know for a while that's probably the only way I'll be able to do any of my crafting! haha! Hi!!! So I actually just went on Amazon and looked up 6x8 albums to get my book. I take full advantage of my prime membership and always look there first. LOL! I like to also get the Simple Stories page protectors to go with it, too. Those fit the Simple Stories brand albums (I think they call them Snap binders) and the Becky Higgins Project Life ones, too. Not sure if they fit other ones, but those are the only I've ever used. :) I hope that helps! XOXO
Hey Danielle!! :) I love that one, too!! Someone who lives a street over from me always decorates their yard around Christmas by parking a really old antique truck in their yard with a tree in the back of it- it's SO cute! I'll have to take a photo and show you! XOXO

I love old turcks that are Christmas I bought a few Christmas stuff that has pic of old truck that has in the back a Christmas tree. I love Christmas but this year we didn't put the Christmas tree up seen we be head away for Christmas time but have my Christmas lights outside up. I would love to see a pic of it.
I'm using the same line but I had to bring in other CP products I've used over the years because if I didn't then I'd keep adding to my stash lol! I like to work on the page the same day because I never know what pics I'm feeling or papers. I wish I could make them ahead😭But I'm too picky lol!

I dont do a daily every year but a December memory album scrapbook KIND OF. We have alot of events that I feel that require more than one page so I documents/scrap based on things like , PJ night, Santas Land trip, Christmas Eve, Cookie Decorating... I have to watch with doing alot of pages that are of a boring day so I wont get the book so large. Yes I have five grandbabies and we do alot of planned events ( as per grandma planner ) lol
Omg okay hearing you say u don’t do foundation pages and all that made me feel so Cool lmao lmao because I don’t either it’s just so stressful to decide ahead of time I have no idea what photos I will be taking u know ... omg I went crazy I got merry day felicity Jane ! Elle studio and creative bubble products I know too much lmao hugs hugs janet
LOL!!! That's awesome! I have very little restraint when it comes to getting things for my DD... but I forced myself to just get the minimum amount of Merry Days I could. Which was still pretty much everything. hahaha I can't wait to see what you make!!
