CARDFIGHT!! VANGUARD Divinez - Episode 5: The Guiding Star of Ever-changing
It's the second round of the Fated Clash, and for some reason, Mikoto's opponent Taizo Kiyokura knows about Akina, and even visits Hikari in the hospital. The fight begins, and while Taizo praises Mikoto's effort, he also remarks that he "can't see her self in her fights".

The dub definetly did what Yugioh dubs do, and that’s use more original dialogue rather than directly translating it from the original. It’s an absolute treat to hear how cool Taizo is in the dub again.
On a side note, you can tell that this dialogue was made for the modern era as Taizo talks about trolls behind the screens (Ironically, he has a new card named Trolle).

Yeah, but they still follow the similar dialogue in the sub version. Just have it localized for western audiences to understand.
But Taizo's fun quips also add charm to it x3 "I don't wanna be a cheap date." XD
And yeah, it may be "time locked" to current gen...but is he wrong? He read Mikoto like a book and gave her the only advice she actually needs to listen to: Screw the online trolls. They don't care about anything other than being a bully because they can hide their faces from you. Only real critics can speak their mind right in front of you, and they're the ones to listen to.

@@rrr271003 ...you mean will+Dress S1? overDress only had 2 seasons, then it went to will+Dress for 3 seasons, and now we're on Divinez. So do you mean will+Dress S1 or you mean will+Dress S3, the season right before Divinez S1?
And yeah, I like my dubs having some fun quips in the dialogue. Like, Taizo was just on point this episode x3

No, it eats shield from a possible interceptor, she was trying to block off any avenue to guard, and she assumed he had a pg, hence why she called a pg, she also didnt know about euryenthe and using combine does require an order be played as well as eat up cb, so she at the worst pressures his use of card capability

Yep. That's why I don't really run them when I mak that deck .it's good, but I noticed it takes a lot of CB to get aggressive on the first turn maximus comes out
