We see most of govt MLA's just sleeping or watching the proceedings like the students sitting in gallery. The MLAs who are idle should be made to sit in gallery n watch house proceedings like School childrens.

In the current system, sarpanches have no responsibility. Only power. As a result absolute useless people run for panch elections. Give the power and responsibility to the Panchayat as required under 73rd amendment. The fools will not deliver. But genuine people who want to work will take it up and have the funds to do so. It will give Goans a chance to see who is genuinely interested and who is abusing the panch chair to extort / be puppet of MLA. It has worked in Kerala and Delhi.

The Chicalim joggers park was supposed to be opened for public as per the second notice on 31st. July. Now the new changed notice says the park will not be opened till further notice. Sad story.....the concrete jungle development INSIDE the park is still going on ,and the greenery is very little to be seen.

Sir, there are no street lights on the main Margao by-pass Road going from Nuvem to Arlem Circle even after so many years of it being completed. We have lights even on the village streets but no lights on this road which is as good as the Highway since all the heavy trucks take this road.
