Tae gyu is a really good father. I love how he raises siha without telling him to man up or things like that. Siha wears nail polish, his favorite color is pink, he wants to be a princess, he wears dresses and Tae gyu supports it all. He really is the best father
Same , he doesn't say or act in a way that shows toxic masculinity, they are kids and there isn't anything wrong with a boy liking pink or painting his nails. He has the freedom to be what he wants and whatnot because he is a kid.
I hope Seungjae will watch the TROS episodes one day, so he can see what a truly great Dad Jiyong is. He might not be super affoctionate but he loves his Family and works really hard to offer them a good life. As a child it might be difficult to understand but Seungjae has an amazing father who deserves a lot of praise

I remember when Sechs kies got disbanded due to a shitty company and, then Jinyong was casted in a drama but, then his ex-company (same shitty company) blocked him and his career too which caused him to leave the industry. He and his group suffered terribly in the industry. Sigh, I hope he gets to spend time with his family soon.

I feel so sad for Jiyong, he really tries and does love his family a lot, he's just shy about showing it. I'm the same way. But I wish I wasn't so shy. It must hurt seeing Seungjae be so affectionate with other people and so hard on him even though Seungjae hasn't been as tough on Jiyong lately.

I don't know much about Jiyong's life growing up but it could be that his parents/ family weren't as affectionate with him either. I'm not a parent but my niece is sooo affectionate to me and I always feel uncomfortable showing my love back even though I do care for her with all my heart. My parents just weren't like that, so showing affection is really weird for me. I'm wondering if it's the same for Jiyong :( it's obvious he cares for Sungjae and his wife but he doesn't seem comfortable expressing it. I hope he can try and step out of his comfort zone for them! And I will try as well, lol.
Lee Hwijae mentioned that he was raised by a father who loved him but did not openly express that affection much so it could be that Jiyong is also from that generation as well. My grandparents were like that. They weren't big on hugs or "I Love Yous" but in reflecting on the little things that they did for us grandkids (like stocking their fridge with our favorite drinks) I realized that it was how they expressed their love.

Tbh jiyong is a good father even though he doesn't show affection. From the kimchi making ep, it shows that they have a best friend relationship. That will benefit seungjae when he is in his teens or young adult because during that time, he will need someone to talk to.
Jiyong is a great father and works really hard, I know it wasn't easy when he was in Sechs Skies especially not with dsp company he was in I hope people realize how hard Jiyong works for his family, even though he may not always show it or seem like he cares he does and he does love his family. Jiyong Works a lot and Seungjae feels like Jiyong is usually stressed or doesn't spend that much time with him. I understand Jiyong not getting Seungjae a dog, because he's allergic. My mom is the same way ( we are both allergic to cats and dogs) but I grew up loving pets and being around cats and dogs but I did almost die 2 times from touching and being around them without washing my hands immediately after. I understand how Seungjae must feel, my dad has always been kind of a workaholic and while as a kid I did feel kind of neglected because I only saw him on the weekends. I haven't spent any holidays with him, it was always before or after my birthday or a holiday. But we would have father daughter days to just hang around times square untill 11pm or 12am and go to the movies or shopping and get food too. My parents are divorced and have been since I was 5, I've been back and forth living with both and it wasn't easy. I lived in the Bronx,My and Philly with my dad but lived in Queens with my mom and now I live down south with my mom and her husband. My dad now lives in Harlem, NY.
