I am 21 and although I don’t get Botox because WTF!! I have noticed that it is extremely normalized on TikTok and almost encouraged as “self love” to modify your body and face. I personally didn’t download TikTok until this past year because I knew it would make me feel horrible about myself! I would also note that it’s definitely not them paying for their treatments but their parents which is also super weird.
I have different experience. It depends on algorithm I guess, mine was all about: self love, body positivity all shapes and sizes, psychology, history, art, diy and lgbt ❤ when You see a video You dont agree with dont comment dont spend time on it because algorithm remembers that, just check-> dont recommend, few times and it should not appear anymore.

I don’t really think we should be normalizing Botox as “weird”. It’s not weird and lots of women get these treatments for many reasons. Normalization of cutting up one’s own body parts can be weird though. As a female internalized misogyny can be a real thing. It’s ok to let women get Botox. Tati, your foundation is so silky on point. I want to recreate this routine to see if it works for me. I have similar problem areas. As for young women getting Botox and fillers, I think it is great to love and pamper yourself but I wish those who feel they aren’t beautiful without it did not feel that way. I don’t have social media for a reason. People do not look like their photos in person (with all these filters and other photography tricks). It makes people insecure for no real reason.

And omg,.as a fellow long torsoed lady, I feel your pain with bodysuits! I love them bc they look sleek and are great basics, but if they're not long enough they do get super uncomfortable in the lower areas and there's no choice but to cut them! (Sometimes a bra extender may work if you're willing to sew a hook and eye on them!)

Dating myself…but when Redken had makeup in the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, I was a model for a Redken makeup artist instructor who was teaching the under painting technique. Used that technique throughout college and into the mid-90’s. Have used it off and on since then. Always happy when you showcase the technique.
My favorite videos are when you teach because you are a natural teacher. Hmmm....most expensive make-up item?? Hourglass everything. I just LOVE the brand. Also realy liking (and testing) the Covergirl clean shadow quads. I approve mostly because they neither make my eyes itch or burn. Talc is a no-no for my eyes. Would Scott Barnes come visit in Texas? When I used to have and make my own all natural beauty and skin care , I saw somewhere that you can use castor oil (teaspoon) and two capsules of biotin(puncture and squeeze out contents into the castor oil) and mix that fresh every day and use for brows and lashes and it actually worked. I went years doing that and making my own makeup and skin care. I have to say, I look much older now that I’m back to buying other peoples products. Natural , non harmful ingredients is totally the way to go.

I was so surprised that we use some of the same products even though you don't mention them often. That Dior eyebrow pencil is one of my favorites, and the Givenchy powder is one of my staples along with Hourglass Veil. Another funny thing, is I had for the longest time stuck to Milk Hydrogrip and more recently Milk Eclipse primer, but recently repurchased L'Or from Guerlain and asked myself why I ever stopped using it. It's firming, softly blurring, and hydrates beautifully.
Lately I’ve been obsesseddddd!!! with the Unicorn Glow bloom lip plumper gloss, it’s a stunning plumping lip gloss that leaves my lips super duper JUICY and smooth it’s actually amazing. There is a little bit of a glitter that reflects the light in a stunning but not crazy way. And it’s drugstore 🙏🙏 I heard you can find it at some Walmarts but I’ve bought it from their website. I have no idea if you’ll read this comment but omg I just need to share this discovery with someone
Hi Tati! My lips have been peeling like crazy this season as well ! I love the idea of using the little scrubby thing to exfoliate your lips. I do a similar technique just with a damp wash cloth and some moisturizer, after using a sugar lip scrub. I think you have convinced me to order a new set of rollers also!
Mine too. I actually use my electric toothbrush over them really quick after I’m done brushing my teeth, lol Also, not one of the 20+ lip masks/balms/oils I have was working this winter- so I did a deep dive researching ingredients and bought the new Ole Henrikson and it’s goood!! Not cheap but def recommend. Inexpensive second, good for daytime option is the new NYX lip oils, they’re as good as the Clarins
Maybe it's not like something really expensive for anyone else, but... i used to have a Shiseido foundation that made my skin look amazing and i loved it so much, im thinking in repurchasing in it.

Tati, your foundation is so silky on point. I want to recreate this routine to see if it works for me. I have similar problem areas. As for young women getting Botox and fillers, I think it is great to love and pamper yourself but I wish those who feel they aren’t beautiful without it did not feel that way. I don’t have social media for a reason. People do not look like their photos in person (with all these filters and other photography tricks). It makes people insecure for no real reason.

And omg,.as a fellow long torsoed lady, I feel your pain with bodysuits! I love them bc they look sleek and are great basics, but if they're not long enough they do get super uncomfortable in the lower areas and there's no choice but to cut them! (Sometimes a bra extender may work if you're willing to sew a hook and eye on them!)

Dating myself…but when Redken had makeup in the ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, I was a model for a Redken makeup artist instructor who was teaching the under painting technique. Used that technique throughout college and into the mid-90’s. Have used it off and on since then. Always happy when you showcase the technique.

When I used to have and make my own all natural beauty and skin care , I saw somewhere that you can use castor oil (teaspoon) and two capsules of biotin(puncture and squeeze out contents into the castor oil) and mix that fresh every day and use for brows and lashes and it actually worked. I went years doing that and making my own makeup and skin care. I have to say, I look much older now that I’m back to buying other peoples products. Natural , non harmful ingredients is totally the way to go.

I was so surprised that we use some of the same products even though you don't mention them often. That Dior eyebrow pencil is one of my favorites, and the Givenchy powder is one of my staples along with Hourglass Veil. Another funny thing, is I had for the longest time stuck to Milk Hydrogrip and more recently Milk Eclipse primer, but recently repurchased L'Or from Guerlain and asked myself why I ever stopped using it. It's firming, softly blurring, and hydrates beautifully.

Lately I’ve been obsesseddddd!!! with the Unicorn Glow bloom lip plumper gloss, it’s a stunning plumping lip gloss that leaves my lips super duper JUICY and smooth it’s actually amazing. There is a little bit of a glitter that reflects the light in a stunning but not crazy way. And it’s drugstore 🙏🙏 I heard you can find it at some Walmarts but I’ve bought it from their website. I have no idea if you’ll read this comment but omg I just need to share this discovery with someone
Hi Tati! My lips have been peeling like crazy this season as well ! I love the idea of using the little scrubby thing to exfoliate your lips. I do a similar technique just with a damp wash cloth and some moisturizer, after using a sugar lip scrub. I think you have convinced me to order a new set of rollers also!
Mine too. I actually use my electric toothbrush over them really quick after I’m done brushing my teeth, lol
Also, not one of the 20+ lip masks/balms/oils I have was working this winter- so I did a deep dive researching ingredients and bought the new Ole Henrikson and it’s goood!! Not cheap but def recommend.
Inexpensive second, good for daytime option is the new NYX lip oils, they’re as good as the Clarins
