Honestly, one thing that comes to my mind when I hear this song, is Matt directing this to his haters who only love Adam and not Three Days Grace as a whole. Like the haters have been putting the blame on him for Adam leaving for so long, and trying to make him the villain he's not, while he's carrying the weight of trying to fill big shoes for the fans, and knows the haters wouldn't do the same for him.
While I prefer Adam's vocals I also understand that Adam left on his own accord because he needed to get better, matt stepped in and he's doing fine, it's just not for all of us and that's fine as long as people are respectful about it

These stupid lead singers get it into their heads that they're the only reason for a band's success. Vocals and lyrics can only go so far. Some bands are better off without any lead singer at all, if the instrumentalists can tell a story without the need for any lyrics.
