I have been training for 62 years. I have shoulder issues now. What I did not realize early on is that doing full extension on overhead movements is not a good idea. It will frey the tendon that feeds between the two adjacent bones of the shoulder. I wont get into the anatomy just be aware.

Nice. Will do 100 pullups a week for two weeks.
Then deload on pullups for 1 week. Then do pullups 3 times a week at 50 each day, totalling 150 pullups a week.

God damn I love doing leaning lateral cable raises, that burn kicks in after 30 reps with light weights 2-7.5lbs, then add progressive overload afterwards to really grow your shoulders.
God damn it i miss gym. It's been 2 month since this quarantine has begun. Gym are still closed..

I love the whole perfect body outlook but people really do overlook how important legs are like I work on my legs so much more cause legs really do make the body grow completely plus the upper body is a lot easier to obtain for me I want to actually have a complete physique

One thing, you say 1g of protein to maintain and grow muscle mass.
But that's only partially correct, you need 1.2g per 1kg to maintain.
1.6g per 1kg to grow.

You can literally do all of these at home
It is not working the lats eccentrically as the force is slowing down/going back down with a pushing force, whereas the lats is a pulling motion. It’s working the muscles you stated eccentrically but not the lats. Lats eccentrically is going back down slowly from a pull up as that is a pulling motion not a OHP as it is a pushing motion.
basically, you need to have very low body fat which is achieved by caloric deficit. then you gotta take proper nutrition for muscle growth and break down the muscles enough by working out.
even though the devil is in the details, most important thing above all else is consistency. body building disciplines you, makes you patient (literally if you do your exercise wrong) and helps you psychologically by working on things like delayed gratification.

Instead or along with pull-ups, do perform single hand dumbbell row in proper form which excites lats a lot.
1: Dumbbell rows for lats
2: overhead press for shoulders
3: Lateral raise for middle shoulder
Also chest flyes are very effective for increasing lats width and the side muscles of chest which ensures a greater male physic
Chest flies are for your chest there is little to zero lat activation
@@ookacper9881 if we extent the range of motion below zero degree, then there will be a little activation
When I do lateral raises I like to lean forward and pull up and back. I feel it mostly in my mid delts, almost not at all it front delts and it hits the rear delts pretty good which is a lagging point for most people.

it should not be the focus....the same way that women do a million glutei and thigh lifts, men should focus on back, arms, chest, and abs to get aesthetics....

Does anyone else disagree with leaning delt lateral raises?? Cus the way I see it this move just changes the gravity position which is always relevant to the ground, directly downwards.. not in relation to the side of your body.. so although his arm/dumbbell is not reaching his side because hes leaning over, it's not changing the physics of gravity which cant be changed.. I'd be interested to know other views on this..

OHP---is the best overall proof of strength.
A while back when building bench press to 370 @ 165 wt cl---my staple was a ton of OHP---it totally translated to a big bench.
I got up to 42 reps w 145 & 1 rep max of 225----it was deleted from Olympics in 1972, coz too much variables of leaning & pushing/ jerking.. AKA = cheating.
When you're hyped about lifting heavy shit and the weed kicks in....

I feel like small waist is most important, closely followed by wide shoulders but arms are more important than lats in my opinion.

@@abraham8565 Yes of course lats will give you the V-look but I was talking about estethics in the perspective of women. I feel like they favor tall, lean, athletic with wide shoulders over strong, powerful and jacked V-tapers. I feel like big arms help with creating that lean, athethic visual whereas lats and pecs do the opposite at a certain point in size.

I can gain muscle with only daily food . We can intake protein from our normal diet . So don't need to take any supplements it can cause any side effects. If you take these once you should definitely take this for long time to gain muscle . If you stop it earlier you will lose you muscle mass and your body will loosen like jam .

All right so through hard work I have the "perfect muscles" on my body but so far I haven't had any success making my body the color it is on the thumbnail. Anyone have any idea how I could achieve that ? It is all I need to have the "perfect" body but no matter how many reps I do, my body color remains the same.
