Join us for a visit to the neighborhood known as the Montmartre of Bucharest, thanks to its beautiful 19th-century architecture. But as we believe in calling a spade a spade and a fig a fig, we’ll tell you the real local story.

Bucharest Chronicles
For a back to basics tour, we give you an overview of our recent past and our older much more glorious history. Starting from the University Square - probably the most popular meeting point in the city, we then move along Calea Victoriei where aristocrats, merchants, communist officials and then new capitalists shouldered each other, in their respective eras, to get a place on the city’s oldest route.

Uncover hidden charms in Mahallopolis
This experience is for the curious, the bold, and the spirited. We'll depart from the Old Town via the subway to visit one of the oldest and most beautiful cemeteries in town. It’s basically an open air museum similar to the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris or London's Highgate Cemetery. Enchanted by the eerie stories, we’ll take a turn through a lively park unknown to many tourists but cherished by the locals.

best video guide on how to get around Bucharest!
Awesome! :)
Lies again? All Anal USD SGD
Good note about taxi guys , named cocalari and pirati :)
To be clear not all of them
We've been fair with all sides, e.g. Uber, yellow cabs (Cristaxi can be spotted), etc
We've just explained solutions and taught the right way to move out and within. That's it! :)
Thanks for watching it! :)
smart2 latrai labari
This is "200 de lei boss ca ce-i la banii tai atat " 😂😂😂
I don't even really know why am I watching this video since I am living in this town, but I really appreciate seeing people making these videos and helping each other. Cheers!
Thanks for watching it! :)) Actually, most of our viewers are Romanians, and many versed locals have still found some new info's! Watch this space further (+Fb/Insta/etc) since we intend to produce more useful content! :)
The legend has it that all the taxi drivers disliked this video 🤣
:)) or at least 7 of them!
😂
finally I know how to safely exit the damn airport..
Yes, airport transfer can be tricky in Bucharest! :) But it is indeed very well explained!
how long have you been there?
@@nutsbeta1325 many times
Later on this year, you will also have a train option which will link the airport with the North Train Station.
E 100 pana in centru boss😂😂😂
Good video guide of bucharest România
As of 2021 you can use the new train from the airport which stops at "gara de nord" the trip is 20 minutes long , and the fare is a bit less then an euro.
Thank u traveling in a week
We're glad you find it useful! :)
Now you have a train option from the airport on top of those. ~5 lei to the city and you can buy tickets from the little offices in the station, the ticket machines, pay by card in the train on the little terminals or pay the ticket controller.
Now you can use the train!😊
Thanks!
Awesome!
Thanks! Make sure you follow us also on Insta and Facebook! :)
Happy holidays!
Take it easy, Charlie! :)
😁
bus tickets and subway included, love it
Excellent video! Thanks!
Now we have direct train from Airport to Town Center .
Well, yes... We filmed too early, I guess... We might update the clip with the train, but not sure its needed, since the train will be quite obvious.
The editing is top notch
consider only one thing, DO NOT GET IN A TAXI when you left the airport. taxi drivers in Bucharest want to trick you at money. be careful
thebobojambo Stop being a racist!
@@_o..o_1871 he ain't 😂😂 he's right 😂😂 they gonna trick you or even steal from you when you don't pay attention, avoid taxis at all costs, never used one in 3 damn years lul.

Greets,

taxi drivers are also advised to ask first what to do to the destination before starting and if the price will not agree you do not accept and go out, you can look for another taxi driver with an acceptable price or if it is variable bus transport at that time go with bus
O reclama mascata!!!

Reclamă mascata la Uber
Plot twist there is a train platform 15 meters from the airport's main entrance. You could just take the train for like 5 Lei but yeah other methods work too. :D
5 euros? The ticket costs 4 Romanian lei (not even 1 euro)
Hi, I'm from Romania
super video 🤩
Uber it’s the best way to get out the Otopeni airport.
thanks for the help i think but im staying in bucharest
Nice
THERE is a NON-STOP train now.
Cost: 1 euro
You can buy the ticket in the train.
Thank you for your video. Could you please advise me where at Piata Unirii 1 to take the bus returning to the airport? I am a little confused by the signs.
The metro map is easy, until you get to line M1 😅, I can't imagine a foreigner being able to get around without moovit or google maps
Cioe singolarmente.
Do i need to exchange money in Bucharest or i can pay with credit card or euro, restaurants, supermarket,....? thanks in advance
Can you use a debit card on the bus?
Unde e statia aia de tramvai?

@Isaac Clarke Did you translate the dialogue? Is that feces in your channel cover picture? Stop being a jerk, meet more people from this planet, laugh a little, be happy you're alive.
@Isaac Clarke Don't ever come back here, Romania will never like you for this comment!
@Isaac Clarke how about you go back to your shit hole mr. "Isaac Clark", 3 or 4 comments below you wrote using the romanian dialect aswell, so stfu ,toxic son of a bitch.
Daca vreau sa scriu in chineza o sa scriu in chineza , omul are dreptul sa scrie in ce limba vrea.
@Isaac Clarke ai uitat romana, te dai cocos?
So, you need a card to use the bus from the airport to the city center??
How much is It??thanks
I fly to Bucarest. 🇷🇴💙💛❤️👍😘
real life is different in my country, not what you post. take it easy😂😂
This short clip was intended to clarify what are the transport solutions. The real life is what each of us experience daily, but even in the worse, worse, worse case scenario, one would still find a way to reach the Old Town. Travelling time to the city is always a burden, we just wanted to make sure that the first impression and experience for anyone visiting Bucharest/Romania would not be: being ripped off by a taxi driver or being fined for not having the correct ticket!
good advice! screw those taxis
You can ride buses and trams for free, but you must be careful to not get caught by "controlori" 😂😂
In sfârșit ceva bun pt străini
Ați uitat de tren. :))))
Bine, încă nu e inaugurată linia, dar mna.
Păi, n-am uitat :)) Dar acum un an când am filmat noi clipul, trenul nu era... Viața...
Stop using The 783 bus if you have luggage... Or pay the ticket for your luggage
Don't know what to say about that... Maybe the express line buses should be equipped with luggage compartments, though, the trust level is still low, and many will guard their bags for the entire trip. You can't really have public transport from the airport or train station with luggage restriction, can you?
@@LocalHosts If somebody use a seat with luggage he/she must make a new validation for the seat. If he/she doesn't use another seat with luggage isn't necessary. Check the STB site on the section fines

Now in 2022 it's a train
how about u guys build a subway station?
Its under construction at the moment, not scheduled to open first stations on it until 2022 and the airport stop last on the line maybe not until 2025.
Bruh this country has got no money bc The politicians stole a lot.
Pay attention to the CROWS
It's not biucharest
They forgot to mention that Bucharest has among the worst traffic in the world close to Mumbai or Jakarta !!!
Not true.
Bro have you ever went to London, lol who told you that?

In romania the transport is free ... 😂😂😂😂
Taxis at airport are very ceap Uber ia very expensive
Yellow cabs, Uber, Clever, Express lines, whatever! All that matter is that we avoid scams. And scams are available at the airport, as well as in the Old Town, for locals or for foreigners, alike! We intend to protect people's interests and give them the information they need to have a great experience in Romania.
If you wanted an authentic experience of Bucharest you shouldn't have edited how the streets actually look lol
50 euros for a taxi 😂😂😂. I live in Bucharest and the price for taxi is maximum 8 euros 😂😂😂😂.
DO NOT GET IN A TAXI #TAXIROMANIA !!! GO TAKE A UBER or CLEVER or BUS TICKET
Am auzit că nevasta ta te a părăsit pt un taximetrist
First thing when you get to bucharest: make a right, reach departures, buy a ticket to a civilized country!! Don't go to Romania guys! If hell had a face, it would be called bucharest!
Thanks for watching the clip! We've produced it believing Bucharest has plenty to offer! :) Anyway, we hope that your comment ”don't go to Romania guys!” >>> will make everyone do the opposite!
What about train from airport to north train station?
