No lie, this game brought my family back together. Back in like 2005, my 3 older sisters weren’t talking to each other anymore. I couldn’t beat the entire game especially the last levels so I needed help. My sisters would help me, and after a ton of attempts, we were able to unlock everyone. We would play 4 players against each other and literally they began talking to each other again after enough games. If it weren’t for this game God knows how long they would have been mad at each other. That’s how damn good this game is lmao

This is the graphics from 2003, and it's still relevant until today... I always liked how fast-paced it is, how all the characters are full of expressions, and never forget the Chain Chomp, it's maybe slower than Bullet Bill, but worth the mess it can cause across the track, especially in the infamous Baby Park
Wiis are ideal for their backward compatibility if you happen to have one, great option - might wanna look into upcaling options or whatnot that are available as well

This game is the bomb. If you haven't played double dash, you're missing out on possibly one of the greatest games known to man. This was every kids dream to beat this game in the early 2000's.
@@Mr.Face222 Gamecubes are easy to find, but Mario Kart us very difficult to find for a cheap price. If you're interested, I think your best bet would be a flea market of some sort. Mario Kart Double Dash is one of the greatest games ever in my opinion!

Nintendo should make a Double Dash Mode and have a bunch of go-karts to unlock separately in said mode for Mario Kart 9. This was our favorite stage and song in DD. My bro and I used to point out Daisy's Cruise in the background every single time. Our childhood was the best.

This one had it all. Best tracks, most characters and karts, best characters and karts, every character had expressions and special power ups, the best music, best pacing, best controls, best graphics, best color, best power ups, most power ups, also doesn't take an eternity of frustration to beat the game with being made to beat races redundantly not to mention almost every track had cool secrets too. Since Mario kart double dash was the first game I have played in my whole life, I’ve never had so much fun or been to excited to play it when I was kid. I would coordinate memories with Mario kart double dash for example, whenever my parents drove me through the city , I would think I was In mushroom city and be really happy.
it would have been awesome if they kept the concept of having a teammate with you in later Mario Kart games, atleast as an option like you can switch between single drivers or if you want a teammate.
I can’t help but notice that the character models in this game look almost exactly identical to the Wii and 3DS Mario Kart entries, maybe even the DS version to a degree.

This is THE BEST MARIO KART GAME EVER! I played this for about a month every night for hours before I beat it and won the Gold car. Alot of fun but very frustrating nights lol. I miss this game and I think the GameCube is so underrated
My gamecube and all of my games have been stolen from me, so I massively appreciate this video. I do wish it used the original Gamecibe graphics, though. I always hated the artificial sharpening of emulators. One thing I love about this game is how much slower bachwards-thrown shells are.

It was the hardest for me to clear the 150cc in the mirror world, so I decided to join hands with a fiend of mine who is a very skillful driver; we used one car together.Through many challenges, we finally got all golden cups and ultimate high-specification golden car!!! So unforgettable... I am glad that a lot of people like this is playing Double Dash now in the world, no one around me is playing and then play the gamecube. Double Dash is my bible!
I remember my dad bought me this randomly when we were at Walmart on 2003. I treasured it dearly because it was a super spontaneous act of kindness for him to do that and the game play was incredible. Six years later I was still playing it while being a dumb 16 year old, taking shots of RnR and crushing rainbow road like there was no tomorrow. Wish my GameCube still worked :(

That’s because the character models in WII are EXACTLY the same as double dash. The ones the MK7 are similar, but slightly different.
Mario Kart Wii reused many assets from MKDD and MKDS.
I grew up with this game on the wii’s GameCube thing it’s amazing seeing it again :D

Played this with my cousin every time I would go over, god this is so good
The best mario kart. I used to play it a lot and i do play it from time to time. Gotta admit that this, gameplay triggers me a little cuz too little drifting and 0 character switch to have items in both slots
Edit: i just wish this game was available for purchase on the switch with online play...
