Thanks a lot Derek I'm glad to hear it 👍. I only had a day there and heard about all these class places after leaving. I'll definitely go back. I didn't even know the president was a Celtic fan. HH pal
No idea about Tirana, Paul. Looks really nice on first glance. Let's see how your day goes. More importantly, let's see if you found a nice Irish pub ☘😂
It's hard to travel without ending in a Pub, we defo need to do one soon pal! Flights to Lithuania are for nothing from Belfast but with this Covid i'm not sure I wana part with the pcr money
Yea for sure pal let me know when you fancy coming to Dublin. Lithuania has 10 days quarantine if you're not vaccinated. It's gone haywire again. Kayak.com and Skyscanner.com both have different info on enter requirements. It's probably changing by the day
I was looking for information about Tirana-Budva bus and I bump into your channel. Nice content. Watching now the Budva one. I'm right now in Saranda, planning to go to Budva. Did you buy the ticket with Old Town Travel?
Hi Fernando. Yes I bought the ticket with old town travel though the website I used was 'bus ticket for me'. I just checked the ticket and its definitely the Old Town Travel company. I paid 23 euro for my ticket. Journey wasn't so bad. Though the bus was small and packed. Maybe worth asking them if there's any big buses going on that journey. I'm glad you found the video I hope it's helpful 👍
There is a misconception about Albania regarding religion. Albania is depicted as an " Muslim " country everywhere, but that's not true..... Albanians are Spiritual Pagans who believe in God without the need of an Imam or a Priest. No matter how much Albanians say I'm Muslim, I'm Christian, they don't follow any of religions rules in their daily life. They follow culture. The moment religion interferes with their traditions and culture, religion is dropped immediately. It is true that Albanians may fast sometime and celebrate Eid or other Muslim Celebrations, but at the same time, they go to Church and Celebrate Christmas, Easter and every other Christian Celebration. Albanians may join the prayer for Eid once a year and won't bother to pray anymore. They may go to Church to pray as well and won't bother to listen to any Mass done by the Priests. They have a complete disregard for Priests, Imams or other religion Institutions. At the same time, they respect all religions, they are opened to every kind of religious special days, because in reality they simply don't care and it doesn't interests them. This is the reason as to why Albanians are called the most " religiously tolerant" people in the world. Religion is the most less spoken matter of Albanian life..... They believe in a straight relationship with God, not through Churches and Mosques. Romans used to complain that Albanians were never fully Christians, Turks complained Albanians were never fully Muslims, but nobody mentioned that Albanians as a very old people who created their culture and their Pagan beliefs long before the Abrahamic religions came into these lands and as a very stubborn and loyal people to their culture, they never betrayed their old Pagan beliefs.... On the other hand, superstitions, cultural traditions are the only ones followed in the country, so depicting Albania as a Muslim country is very wrong. Yes, there are some people more religious than others, but nothing different than every other country. Every single Church and Mosque in the country is built by foreigners, not by Albanians themselves and every single one built with a Hidden Agenda behind......... By the way, I'm glad an Irish man is visiting my country. I live in London and I have the highest respect for Irish people. They are the best bunch from Northern Europe, they seem to me more similar to Mediterranean people than Northern European people, warm, friendly, easygoing. My best friends are Irish. I love them to Hell!❤
Thanks for the info. I do very little research when arriving in a new city because I like to be surprised. I just posted a video of my day in Tirana so I hope you'll enjoy it. I was careful enough to mention its a majority Muslim population but at the same time its not something you really notice when there. My biggest takes were its a very friendly, safe place and well worth visiting. A lot safer than Dublin. Also I had to mention the Hollywood negative portrayal of Albania like Hollywood does with many countries. I only spent a day and half there which is hardly enough. I'll definitely go back and see more of the country. Thanks for info and for the comment 👍

Hi, Are there buses that go from Tirana Airport to Podgorica?
Sorry I don't know as I didn't go to Tirana airport
Tirana doesn't look as bad as people make out.
The next video will show a lot more of Tirana. It's a great city and it was a very pleasant surprise. Cheers Nick 👍
