Special Dinner: At the beginning of the month, our boarders embarked on a culinary adventure, enjoying special meals to celebrate the end of the under-19 ISSO Basketball competition. They gathered for a special dinner at Han, fostering unity among the residences while acknowledging our school basketball team's efforts in the competition.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: On Gandhi Jayanti, our boarders took part in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. They cleaned up the beautiful Aravalli Hills, realizing the importance of environmental responsibility. In return for their efforts, they were treated to some delicious delicacies, adding joy to the expedition. This experience was not just an adventure but also a lesson in environmental responsibility.
Creative Saturdays: Every Saturday in the residences brings new activities. On the 14th of October, Mekong Residence buzzed with creativity and cultural fusion as students celebrated a unique integration of Halloween and Dussehra through mask-making and Spooky Storytelling at Han. These activities fostered collaboration and symbolized the strong bonds within the boarding community.
In Zambezi Residence, boarders from grades 9 to 12 gathered to celebrate Diwali through an eco-conscious poster-making activity. They expressed their artistic talents and raised awareness about an environmentally friendly Diwali. The event brought students from different grades together, promoting creative ideas, collaboration, and a meaningful Diwali celebration.
Dussehra Mahotsav: From the 17th to the 21st of October, we celebrated Dussehra Mahotsav. Each day featured students acting out scenes from the Ramayana, showcasing our rich cultural traditions. The grand finale included burning the figure of Ravan, followed by a joyful Dandiya Night with a special dinner party. These events strengthened our bonds, taught us about collaboration, responsibility, and the joy of sharing, leaving us eagerly anticipating more enriching experiences.
