A child should never have to choose between their parents. And one parent shouldn’t encourage not having a relationship with the other. But I’m just a child of divorce that went through similar circumstances, who has now stayed successfully married almost 40 years. Staying married is work. Serious work.

I understand Brad’s situation. I raised my sons unknowing that my ex-husband had been undermining me for years by playing the victim. I’m totally estranged from my youngest and have a difficult relationship with my oldest. My ex has played the victim card for years even to the extent of having to pay child support although he was paying the minimum of paying $200 per month per child. Although he had moved in with another and was enjoying her station of an excellent job, good money, owning her own home. He. Was always looking for someone to support him. It’s a hard situation to deal with and to try to explain what actually happened is impossible because of the lies he had been telling for years.

Bad mouthing the other parent always backfires. The other parent is part of the child and if they see themselves in the area a parent is belittling in the other, they take it personally and begin to distrust the parent who is finding constant blame in the other. Eventually all trust is broken.
AJ recently sending out yet again another barrage of public messages accusing BP of something else. The public is tired of her constant harassment. I can’t imagine how Shiloh is feeling.

It doesn't matter what Angelina feels or thinks about Shiloh's decision. Shiloh is now old enough to make her own decisions. A parent can either hold their children tightly (smotheringly) and risk those children rebelling or let them go to find their way and be there for them if/when needed.
Ok i do think something happened on the plane which prompted Angie to file a divorce, but now angie says he abused her often - this i do not believe at all! She has become vindictive and wwants to hurt Brad because he loves another woman.

PARENTS need to stop trying to alienate kids from the other parent. My ex (the father) tried this with my son. I just remained the consistent rock who loves him and wants the best for him. Guess who my son lives with now and guess who he hasn’t seen in five years and doesn’t even speak to on the phone? Yeah, kids figure it out in their own time.

She is 18, really she should be applying to go to a Uni campus. Would Brad be at home with Shiloh, he does not strike me as a stay at home dad or one that would want shiloh following him everywhere, she could turn latch key.
