Wild Dance is a poor translation. The original Japanese word (乱舞, Ranbu) means something like "flurry of strikes." Fighting game moves like Raging Demon are often referred to as a Ranbu.
Yeah, there are a lot of big _localization_ mistakes in the game. Even the story dialogues had a lot of words the characters clearly didn't say/mean in Japanese. Whomever Bamco contracted to do that needs to be retrained in the least, let go at worst.
@@TheRibbonRed How much you want to bet it was mostly machine translated, with like one person editing the entire thing. There's been some manga publishers pulling that shit lately.
@@gryphman a lot, but I'd raise the stakes that the few people tasked with this are a bit loony. They changed a lot of dialogues to make the women characters come off as more insecure & rude than the JP dialogue.
Man, as much as this game can be excessively handholdy with the tutorials, stuff like this is oddly not explained. No wonder so many are asking for build videos; so many affixes have unclear effects and there's no tooltips in the game at all.
@@drag0nchampi0n No. A lot of the abilities need to be better explained. As much as I love testing builds and crunching numbers. I pretty much wore myself out on day 2 trying to understand the abilities. Nothing wrong with wanting build videos and tutorials for this stuff.
It's wild to me how we have information on stats and how subskills / abilities as well as OP and EX skills are just so vague that even testing it out. It's still confusing. Yeah you can test it out but it still lacks the definitive explanation as to what a thing does in this game. I seriously don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for these videos. I'm no expert but I do have a better understanding now that there is a source where everything is explained in detail, and is also easy to understand. The game itself has stats where yeah it's self explained. However other stats are a bit wonky and can also be puzzling even after trial and errors.
It's pretty annoying at how this game held your hand the entire time with constant popups and tutorials, yet when it comes to abilities, there's not even a lick of explanation about them.
thanks for that! so basically any multi hitting skill is considered wild dance..... goodness... bamco really stiffing on the QOL stuff.. now we dun even get the visual indicator of which parts increases which abilities while selecting them for synthesis.. or am i missing something?
damn this would of been good to know before i put my build together going to have to see if i can work it in, but it's not really a must have to be honest unless you're really relying on "wild dances" for anything more then a finisher
What is meant by "attack power: parts lost" and "hp recovery when parts lost"?, Does it mean when we release the enemy's parts or when our parts are released?
Does this work for moves like the F91 saber that goes on while you hold the button? Also, having the skill on both weapons stack or will it just use the higher value?
Mastered EX skill, once you have upgraded the original part to 6 star, you can assign the EX or OP skill without the need of using the original parts. Notice the right hand turns holographic, which I really hate that to be honest. I mean the holographic effect.
@@youtubeisracistx i mean its good enough i Just wish AI was more smarter to make those fights more exiting besides that i dont mind no pvp but could have been fun because the story always alude to it but yeah the game is unbalance so makes sense why its not in lol
The summary is "any OP or EX melee skill that does a combo instead of one big hit counts as a Wild Dance."
thank you for the quick answer....
I’m not sick of you please be one of the few sources for answers in this THANK YOU

Came here to point this out, but you've already explained it better than I can.

You could just try it out. It's really that simple lol.

All there needs to be is the ability to hover over a skill and it tell you what symbol represents what ability.
@asterr001 you're not wrong though.
SO THAT THE REASON WHY ZAKU HIT SO FUCKING HARD.
IT WILD DANCE

Literally about to a record one explaining every EX and Op type
MC, we really don't deserve you. 😂 Thnxs to be a one place - resource for this game
Literally seems like the only one explaining any of this in detail! Super helpful 👍🏻

But we have MC to explain them so it works out
@TheMegamaster44 I’m so tired and angry every day
Instasubbed because of your dedication to this game! Hard to get info on the net so far. Keep it up! :)
id say thats pretty..... wild
im sorry
but hey thx for doing the detective work for us lol
Good to know my assumption was right and I wasn’t playing the past 2 days with a wasted passive slot
Your awesome and awesome video be safe out there

I think you shld use weapon with exact same level 50, same base attack. but 1 with wild dance ability and 1 without.
Well that would explain why my gundam spark was doing so much more damage than before. I really need to pay more attention on the stuff I have. Lmao
Subbed because I was wondering what in the eldritch fsck Wild Dance was, thank you
I’ve also figured out such mysteries as Cancel EX, Inherent EX and Injection EX and want to die every time I decode whatever dumb shit it is
What Gundam or weapon has the ground spike attack? It shoots out spikes from the ground?
Excellent video bro! Btw, what torso is that?
Serpent custom!

Sure does work on the saber spin

Nah
Hey what does MG mean on the weapon
