Hey girl, just checking in. You haven't posted anything since Simply Living it took a break, and your guy's podcast didn't go up, either. Just hoping all is well!
I love that you made a point to say that all kids are different. I so agree! My second was totally ready to sit for longer spurts at 3 and is doing 1st grade math in kindergarten (math minded kid 😂 ). But my 3rd will be 4 in 2 weeks and still isn't quite ready to sit for very long and is just now showing any interest in learning letter sounds. We are doing very gentle preschool. Lots of songs, books, and a few minutes of flashcards each day. She will probably do one more year of preschool next year since she has a late September birthday and I don't think she'll be ready for kindergarten next year. All kids learn at different rates and it is so much better to let them go at their pace. They will be much more confident and successful long term.
I have a three year old as well. She turned in May. I just bought the pre-k of TGTB and started our first lesson today. She loved it. I did by the Leap frog video you recommended in one of your videos and she loving too. Having older kids really help get them excited to learn!! Good luck and looking forward to more video's like this.
She is so sweet, and that box looks like a lot of fun! Preschool is my favorite age to work with especially when it was just one on one with my kiddo. Loved watching this! 💕💕
My gosh is she just so precious! My boy turned 3 in April. He loves numbers and we are working on letters - my daughter had more letter motivation at that age. So we just go easy and are play based. Just grabbed some shaving cream to do letters in shaving cream like I did back when I taught 1st grade. I’m so excited about the pre-K box! I must try this!!! Loving your channel and podcast, too. As a stay at home mama and former educator with my masters in reading - I learn new things everyday from you!
I've been playing the letter factory for my five year old and she loves it and it's definitely helped her learn sounds! This was such a cute video! 💖📝📚🔠
My son turned 3 at the very end of July. He watches Letter Factory almost everyday (his choice lol). We have also been using the Toddler Busy book. He is loving it all! He already knows his letter sounds and colors. Just can't quite get counting yet.
I have a preschooler as well. Some days are great and others are not so great! About like you I go with the flow. Do you keep your kids in preschool for two years or do you move them up after the first year?
I have a preschooler (turned 3 last week) and a 5 year old (level 1) in the UK, my 3 year old was dying to start "lessons" so we began doing flashcards with numbers, colours and letter sounds. My preschooler doesn't do too well with pen control yet. How is Zoe with it?
My 3 year old doesn’t say more than 200 words. He’s very social with people especially kids around his age. He doesn’t even know how to say his name and calls everyone mama 😅😅
Good morning, Mamas! ☕ Do any of you have preschoolers this year? Any favorite resources? Praying you have a blessed week! 🤍

Flexibility is so key! We will do preschool for a few years before moving up depending on where she's at 🤍
