My S21 Ultra should arrive mid week. I am upgrading from an LG Optimus T with a 3.2" screen, I think it was about 2011 when I got it. One camera at 3.1 MP, Android 2.2, and 2 GB storage.I expect to be blown away when I get it.
Trust me You will be blown away. The Screen is Phenomenal !!! Note: it will take a few days to get use to it coming from a much smaller screen, It can be a little heavy in the pocket at times. Congrats on your purchase.
Watched this on my S21 Ultra, the biggest thing not mentioned here that I love is being able to take excellent photos of the moon anytime, anywhere. By no means something I needed but it sure is a fun feature. I came from a Galaxy J3 Star and this phone was indescribably amazing, the camera is so versatile, the screen is so perfect, and the design is the best to date I have 0 complaints.
I'm assuming this was a review on the Snapdragon model? I briefly tried and exynos one (before returning it) and the battery life and camera quality were definitely nowhere close to what was described in this video, so I'm surprised!
For me the snapdragon was the same returned it and went back to my note 20 U. Also tried that case with the S pen and it’s extremely ugly and uncomfortable to hold. This is not a full day work phone even with a 5000 mA battery. The background drain and the 120hz and 5g will kill the battery. I would be lucky to get 4.5 hours of SOT.

I don't understand why the reviews are so positive and the actual phone seems to have pretty erratic behaviour from user to user. I initially thought it was just the Exynos model as I've had issues with that as well in the past, but I didn't realize the Snapdragon also had issues for some.
@@michaelm.3477 I noticed more issues after the feb update that was rolled out to fix camera issues. Also for me Android auto was broken from the beginning not sure what the issue was but when connected to my audi q7 2018 it would charge but android auto would never launch and if did it would revert back. I even tried different cables same behavior. Works fine on my note 10 plus and note 20 ultra. Could be bad batches of phones or just luck. Will hold on to the note 20 U for now and maybe look into z fold 3 if they kill the note line this year.
@@rahullulay Wow tgat's crazy. I haven't gotten less than 6 hours SOT on my S21 Ultra on network. I've seen 9 on wifi but there's a definitely and power drain issue in standby because I leave my house at 5:20 am and I arrive to work around 7. Without even turning the screen on I've already lost 5-7 percent battery life. My iPhone or Pixel device would still be at 99-100%. I wanted to see if I could turn 5g off but for some reason I don't have that option on At&t.
First time watching the channel. New subscriber! I'm not the normal person, being visually impaired. But I picked up the S21 Ultra because I use the zoom lenses to help me see things in everyday life. In addition, having a screen with high resolution AND super smooth motion rate is lovely. Yo top it all off, great battery life makes living with this phone easy. Great review!
I am visually impaired as well and just switched from from a mate 20x It was actually a larger screen and more enjoyable to watch content but the camera wasn't a hundred times zoom just 30 which was still very good.
I have the exynos s21u and the night photography/video is trash.... The camera transitions are also bad and noticeable. The fingerprint sensor is worse than my s9, no card and no audio jack... I think I'll return it.
Sensible non-partisan consumers will wait and see what the competition comes out with especially if you are paying $1250 (256gb). I certainly expect some compelling devices to arrive soon that will easily undercut the s21U in price, and will offer as much if not more, so remember it is in a vacuum at the moment as it is the only SD888 phone released so far outside China. Having seen the Mi11Ultra specs I am tempted by the Global version but the OP9P is also due soon along with the P50Pro. I would prefer any of these over the s21U mainly due to Exynos being omnipresent in my region.
The phone is great , refresh rate, camera, software etc. Though its huge .I've been using it for 7 months now. For me this is not advisable for daily use it pains my small hands. I switch to iphone 13 mini.
Don't get it. I've watched so many of these videos about the Ultra and they all said the Ultra camera is the best. Its small margins but the reports are great. In your video, your the first to say thst the IPhone has better pictures. Interesting.
I am still using Samsung Note 9 (like Linus :) ), and in daily use, o don't see any reason to upgrade. Phones are still big, and that camera bump is ugly. i think i am waiting a phone without a bump. And as camera quality iPhone is the best.
@Paul With my 256gb I don't need an SD card. Headphone connection, is it 2011? I got Buds pro from Samsung for free with my S21 ultra. Don't get stuck in the past Paul ..... And the difference in chipset you notice in daily life no difference.
Ciao, I think the photos of S21ultra are much better than the ones you proposed you can see that you use Iphone and you get dazzled by the fake colors of Apple, but I guarantee you that S21ultra can do much better!

One suggestion -- I was "watching" this video while driving (that is, listening to the audio via Bluetooth to my car), and couldn't help but notice that there are a lot of audio sound effects while changing photos. After a while, listening to all of that "whooshing" gets a bit tiring. Perhaps you can tone down the audio transition effects a little in the future?
Definitely not better than my Note20Ultra long as no sdcard support and no MST for Samsung Pay definitely won't purchase. Plus true Note users don't buy stupid cases for bootleg Spen which is missing so many real Spen features it's comical.

Yes the S21 ultra is a great phone but why pay extra for an s-pen that doesn't carry the same features as the note. From day one when I got my note 20 ultra I was using the s-pen. Now with the S21 ultra you have place an additional order for the s-pen.
I have the S21 ultra and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Speaking subjectively, barring the zoom quality, the iPhone still takes better photos in my experience. There is far more naturally resolved detail in photos without resorting to oversharpening. That is a key difference many don’t realise or don’t look into. The Samsung’s photos look “sharper” but in reality, upon zooming in, there is compression artifacts, upscaling issues from the 12 MP nona binned shots vs 108 MP, overexposure clearly evident. Skin tones still remain better on this two and a half year old phone than the latest S21 U and video is simply no comparison. No android phone comes close to the video quality on the iPhone. Apple is simply two generations ahead of the competition n in this regard.
maybe but i really hope that apple fixes the white balance on iphone on grey weather the photo is blue on iphone and sometimes it takes yellow balance photos i know becouse i have a 11 pro max too
In terms of battery life, I cannot get my S21 Ultra to a day and a half. I usually get 10-15 % left in the tank before I go to sleep (I dont usually play video games tho) Maybe it's because of the Exynos version that I got.

I can’t give up my Note 20 Ultra. The internal S-Pen, MST, Bluetooth S-Pen features, SD card, and up to 1 terabyte more storage is just too much.

My Note 9 is also a 512GB version with an expandable storage of up to 1TB. I guess overkill is an understatement here.

I’ve just sold my S21 Ultra, coz the battery life was very poor. I had to charge it twice a day... I had higher expectations from 5000mAh battery...
This review isn't true the Galaxy has way better camera then the iphone i have both and i like the samsung shots better
