home plate rundowns are so much fun you're always on edge wondering if the runner could score or not. but if the catcher is in good position you're not scoring you don't even need replay to see if the runner crossed home plate.
The situation hitting from the Angels has plenty of room for improvement. When Hunter couldn't locate his command, they shouldn't be swinging at the first strike, especially with runners on base. If there was more patience at the plate, the Angels could have pressured Hunter with more walks instead of getting behind the count and whiffing.
Nobody noticed that in the 1st inning when Altuve tried to Score from 3rd on a ground ball that the A’S Catcher was Blocking the Plate? So shouldn’t Altuve been ruled safe??
I noticed that too but I think the rule is that the catcher is not allowed to be in front of the plate without having the ball yet. I believe he caught the ball then went in front of the plate to tag him.
Also in the 3rd inning when Jake Meyers hit a single and 1run scored and Alex Bregman was trying to score once again the Angels catcher blocked the plate and Narry a word was mentioned Alex should have been ruled safe also! Why isn’t anybody noticing this? Including myself,,!
