Went from 260lbs to 178lbs. I still have some body fat but figure I am building muscle instead of just cutting. I could only bench 135lbs when I started now up to 205. I feel like I'm 25 again.

My fitness pal is an absolute must. I’m sure when Greg says they aren’t accurate, he means don’t trust the app knowing how many calories you need to maintain/gain/cut. Weigh yourself everyday and track your calories so you know what is your maintenance. Weigh everything on a scale to be the most accurate. I know I’m preaching to the choir, it’s for those wondering. May everyone on here make all the gains.

Agreed. I agree his method is fine, but it's really not much difference than using the calorie calculator as a base and adjusting accordingly. He doesn't lead a normal lifestyle as well. He very well may be an outlier from calculators due to his activity level, background, and supplementation (TRT) use. These things tend to break down at the extremes. Everything else in the video was great.

Stopped drinking on the weekends but kept my calories the same, and the weight started coming off again. Your body sees alcohol as a poison so it metabolizes that first. I started working out in February, started out at 198 lbs at 6’1, I was skinny fat and wanted to become muscular. I started working out every day, not really too focused on my diet, and wasn’t changing in weight, only in appearance. So I started fasting every day but on the weekends, and loss almost 30 lbs in about 2 and a half months, I was eating one small meal a day, and averaging around 12k steps a day. Got stuck at 170 lbs at 6’2 for over a month and decided to try to bulk, and couldn’t bulk, my weight wouldn’t change from 170. I cut out all cardio and ate nothing but junk for almost 2 days straight, and my weight stayed the same. One day I finally gained weight, and now I’m 180 lbs, I’m still skinny fat but I’m pretty muscular, the only fat I don’t like that I still have left is love handles. I’m starting a cut next week and going to continue it until the end of the year, and hopefully I’ll lose my love handles. Cutting harder than last time!

I did not enjoy how underwhelming it was. So i decided to bulk. And man its a lot more fun. So far ive gained about 10lbs and i legitimately do believe its a majority muscle. I have been working crazy hard in the gym and my body looks BETTER than it did 10 lbs ago! I somehow look leaner. I dont understand it but man i am excited to do my cut.

What was your body fat percentage or what did you think. It was? If your trying to gain mass bulking will work. But most people overdo the bulk. Then, go longer than what they need or to much of surplus. You could have been in a deficit and didn't weven know it. Has happened to me I think I am in maintenance phase. But in reality was in surlpus
