I am not surprised. Canada is a great country and beautiful. I used to live in Washington 30 years ago and went to a number of neat areas such as Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. And stayed in Vancouver and was there in 1969 when Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. Camped in Penticton. Visited Banff National Park which is connected to Glacier National Park. Also experienced the Aurora Borealis going to North Battleford Saskatchewan.
I agree, but with that being said, I vowed to be 10 Years younger than the late great Jack Benny, he always claimed to be 39 years of age, so I say I’m 29... I have been 29 for over 30 years, so I don’t know what else to be, my son has passed me by, daughter too? The trick is not to let thoughts of being old creep into your mind.
I remember Jonathan saying how fun and hilarious it was working on TNG, when compared to the other spinoffs. Great to hear they are all still friends. I wonder if there's a building named for John Candy? Would it even be possible to build one that could measure up to the man?
Thank you, to all of you, whom are part of Star Trek, past, present and future. You have brought to life, to the forefront of our minds, that there is hope and there is a better way to live with one another, in a society that is plentiful and peaceful. We now know the truth about our ability to change the world for the better. We can live in a world of total equality, in every way you can think of. We don’t need prejudice. It doesn’t serve us. We also don’t need money to live. Money has only ever enslaved us, separated us from each other, tricked us into believing that some of us are more worthy than others and it has.stimulated fear, greed and domination in society. You need only look at the science and gadgets Star Trek brought to our imaginations, like 50yrs ago and that we now use that technology on a daily basis and have even advanced further than that! How much we’ve changed in so little time....that proves that if we focus on making choices that lead us to that utopian society, it will happen and it will happen a lot faster than you may have originally thought. What a bright future to look forward to....we are all so very grateful, thank you

@@Ramera99 Hell I remember checking into a hotel for a convention, and either asking the time or being asked the time, and realizing I was standing next to Londo Mollari himself, Peter Jurasik.
I just love the relationship between Riker and Troi , please let it continue and see more of them , maybe a spin off series ?
Its fun to watch these 2 together, inlive their on and off screen chemistry.
I love how they sing each others praises and projects at the end. 👍😄
The kiss really reminds me of the scenes in TNG when Troi and Riker had a kiss among friends for example at the end of episode 3 in season 6. I love that their friendship is as good as the one of their characters❣️ even though they won't get married one day like Troi and Riker I guess.
It's that whole Genie Francis thing LOL
Just fantastic. Smiled all the way through the interview.
What a great interview! Thank you for posting it!
Marina is still adorable. Love Jonathan Frakes easy going persona!
You can tell their good friend's.
Little did you know the moment or happiness you would bring to a changed world, 19 months in the future. Thank you.
Many years ago when we were all much younger. Marina Sirtis came to Ottawa for a convention. She was a powerhouse of energy. Less known is I was one of the staff who'se job was to ensure hear peace of mind. I heard no complaints.
My style is discrete and the person(s) I watch over come first. I was of course a big fan, but at that moment Marina was just another person who deserved to have some peace and efficiency. Doing this type of work I've been lucky to meet many amazing actors, and ensure their comfort. I doubt she would remember me as I'm now old, grey and much rounder. :)
Contrary to what Jonathan Frakes said, William Shatner is not from Stratford. Shatner was born and grew up in Montreal. He did later joind the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario.
Such a great cast! To this day TNG is one of my all time favorite shows.
You could tell how much they liked each other on the show, it really came over.
I love them both so much! Will Riker is one of my favorite characters in the history of television, movies, and books. The other is Jean-Luc Picard. TNG Picard though, not "I'm an android now" Picard.
These two have definitely hooked up in real life
for sure... there was 'some' hanky panky.
I heard Sirtis liked to hook up with the guest stars
I don’t think so Marina used to gush constantly about her hubby before he passed at end of 2019 and Johnathan has constantly praised his wife for helping him walk onto the director path. The kiss was weird but I think they are just very close friends!
@@lijohnyoutube101 after a kiss like that, my wife would have me sleeping in the holodeck for a few weeks at minimum.
@@lijohnyoutube101 Look carefully how they lean on each other, that physical intimacy speaks for its self. By the way because they generally love their spouses has nothing to do with a hook up that is not how reality actually works (even if you want it to be).
1:13 Fun fact----Frakes guest-starred on a episode of "Dukes of Hazzard"...his character was a bank robber that tried to woo Daisy. Frakes' Freudian slip is showing....:)
Can´t blame him, when I remember how frikkin attractive Daisy Duke was ;_)
Warhorse500 Frakes also did a Walton’s episode called legacy
...and appeared in an episode of Charlie's Angels in the mid 70s. Wait, I shouldn't admit that I know that...
He also played Charles Lindbergh on Voyagers! in the 1982-83 series.
@@rickmidkiff9990 Erin (Mary McDonough) loved his character, Ashley Wilkes, a Naval officer!
She was the reason i watched.
She is one of the most beautiful woman on the planet.
Thank You so much ,enjoyed this .
STNG was replayed week nights Mon - Thurs. at 10 pm. I would do my homework and as a treat I'd watch STNG.
The chemistry between the Star Trek The Next Generation cast is what made the show.
You guys were the number one show in a lot of places when you were on the air. :)
Great interview, and so much fun to watch Marina and Jonathan charm the socks off everyone. it's so funny though - Marina seems to be so serious, and Jonathan always has that twinkle in his eye. He seemed a bit self-important in TNG at times, but now I can see that he's just a blast to hang around with has aged like a fine wine.
I love these two, they are so genuine :)
Both still looking good.
Wow they both look great, he's aged well and she doesn't look like she's age much at all. Loved that little kiss.
I had no idea they were so close .... it’s nice to see...
How is it that Marina looks so stunning after all of these years? She is a timeless beauty.
The fact that she didn't become "Marina Frakes" is still a massive shame - they're so great together.
He’s been married to Genie Francis for decades! Soap opera fans also wanted her to marry her onscreen guy. She was half of the couple Luke and Laura. The marriage survived fan shipping!
I love that they are all proper friends still
I don’t get starstruck, but meeting a cast member from TNG, I don’t know if I could
Help myself freaking out a little. They’re just actors, but I’ve been watching them almost 40 years!
Hi from Saskatchewan.
Fun to watch, light hearted and warm.
That was pretty good 👍! Grew up watching Star Trek and loving all of them. True they felt like family. I'm glad to see they all stayed close! 👍
Aw. That was lovely.
God I hope I never get old.
I was so happy to see these guys on the Picard series. SO much a part of our lives.... who does not like these two......
@Nature and Physics The Picard show ruined everything else did it?
They are older, happier, less serious, and still very much inio Star Trek TNG, and it's offshots. I always enjoyed these two
shes even more beautiful now, than she was on the show.
You could swear they were married .damn that's so cool
Oh, no... Why do you think Frakes said, “It’s better than going home...”? 😉
My favourite Next Gen episode is "second chances ". Love all you guys... Ausgranny 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Sooooo close… too close??? 😂lovely people from a lovely show
They both look fantastic!
Love the love between them. I love them both too!
It was so cool to see them on Picard together as husband and wife.
Yeah, although I missed the humour they had between them they had in TNG.
No show makes me feel as home as TNG even today.
She’s still so hot
She's Greek. They age like fine wine.
@@Emper0rH0rde What the fuck.
This is why people think star trek fans are creepy nerds
DavidGjam eh fuck em. Counselor Diana Troy is eternally beautiful.
full power to the forward deflectors
Great show. TNG. It's coming on Tonite
I remember Jonathan saying how fun and hilarious it was working on TNG, when compared to the other spinoffs. Great to hear they are all still friends.
I wonder if there's a building named for John Candy? Would it even be possible to build one that could measure up to the man?
Not Candy, but Shatner. However, Second City renamed one of its theaters the John Candy Theatre.
What a bright future to look forward to....we are all so very grateful, thank you
Going to Comicon is like going on safari in a human game preserve. I say that with affection.
I loved that freaking show when i was a young adult. I loved the Generations movie , a passing of the torch from Kirk to Picard, it was really well done. I know fans are divided on that but anyway TNG i still watch it to this day from time to time. No Star trek show was ever as good IMO.
To hey had not been on stage for many years at this point, but now they had come back in multiple ways
I remember "The Best of Both Worlds" was the talk of summer 1990.
Great Funny Video Interview with Mister Johnathan Frakes and Lady Marina Sirtis, from Star Trek The Next Generation
Deanna Troi! I urgently need a counseling session with you. Please !
