    Nice talk!! I do resonate with Sir and Ma'am, it's relevant even today.... Need for MBBS people with critical care experience, is a necessity to have quality healthcare

    Wow......most awaited video👏......this video helps a lot of medicos who want to learn critical care and excel in this branch.
    Personally as I am doing this course(FCCCM).....I highly recommended to the critical care aspirants.
    The best part in this course......you can learn by working at your hospital and get the guiding classes from the expert teachers Dr PK Jain sir, Dr Meeta mam, Dr Ankur sir and many more...)
    One who takes this course will experience the easiet way to diagnose the case (even with minimal investigations) and treat accordingly..... especially for the medicos who are new to critical care. Also its sharpens the skills of already practising intensivists.
    I highly recommend this course👍

    The reality is that very few hospitals in India hire adequate number of ICU specialists. ICUs are mostly "managed" by BHMS/BAMS doctors, with allopathic doctors just rounding once or twice a day for namesake (There was an article in the Times of India in October 2020 on AYUSH doctors in ICUs). In addition, the allopathic doctors are also usually internists / anesthetists / respiratory medicine specialists, or even plain MBBS doctors, and not Critical Care Medicine specialists.
    A person specializing in Critical Care Medicine after MD/DNB may very likely be disillusioned by the lack of demand.

      Aren't there any jobs ?

    • @medguy8227
      @medguy8227 Год назад

      @@drasutoshpanda "No scope and No jobs" would be too extreme. I would say less scope and jobs than suggested by the figure of 70,000 ICUs mentioned in the video (at 5:38). It's difficult to predict the future. For example, requirement of DM CCM may increase with increasing number of transplant procedures. But, on the other hand, some new (and shorter) course might be introduced to train doctors specifically for transplant patients.
