Thank you for this video. I use dynamic blocks with visibility and attributes as well and I find myself having to copy the blocks and rearrange them in an array order from numeric value of an attribute. Please share a video with a macro that will copy and rearrange dynamic blocks in numeric order by their attribute value.
Hi, if you have a dwg with an specific block, email it to me lazyarquitecto@gmail.com with a detailed explanation of what you need and I may pick it for a LazyQuestion live show!
@@LazyArquitecto ; I have a question. As you know in roof rafters we work with pitch, 4 in 12, 6 in 12 or just the angle and the base length of 12” ( or multiples there of) . What I’ll do is draw the elevation roof pitch indicator (triangle) 12” base then up say 6” vertical then close the PL. Then explode and extend my angled line up to ridge. Couldn’t I just create a block with an attribute to fill in the rise per ft. and it would adjust the angle accordingly? The 12” is constant, obviously. Hope I’m being clear. And thank you for any input.

Thanks for the video. You took the calculator to find 0.16 of 10 feet. And you took as a result 1' -6" .
0.16 of 10 feet = 1' -7 13/64"
Happy to help 😃 join us live this Sunday 10am (Pennsylvania US time)
Thanks for making the video. You speak very clear and pedagogic.

Awesome, Awesome Awesome. This has so many applications it could work with. Did I say awesome? 👍👍👍
Yes 😀 glad this dynamic block was useful to you. Actually it can be used for handicap ramps, etc
@@LazyArquitecto I was thinking more on the lines of trusses for roofs
@@douglasmichel6361 good idea 💡 it can work for anything that needs slope

Thanks for the great video mate.
Hamish glad you found this dynamic block helpful. Thanks for taking time to say hi 👋
Thanks for this tutorial.
Happy 😀 my Autocad tutorial was helpful Loran. You missed last Tuesday video: goo.gl/gYfw2w
Thanks for sharing.
Hi Soe, sure I thought it may be helpful for other Autocad designers.
Felicitaciones hijo ❤️
Gracias suegra 😀 saludos!
Instead of relation is this possible to make with vlookup option as we are doing in excel..because few are the dimensions to be called from vlookup
Everything is possible my friend. I'll do a dynamic block with lookups soon. Have your bell 🔔 notification on so you don't miss it
is there a way to add "Column offset" of array in parameter manager. i want to create dynamic block of stairs with variable tread width.
There is always a way Meena, I might make a stair block in the future, have your bell notification on so you don’t miss it!
do you know bro How can I change the property set from Custom to any name I need ?
Are you referring to the linear parameters? If so, you can select it and change to name from the properties palette
@@LazyArquitecto
I mean the section name not the property name
Which section name? I Watched the entire video and didn't see any section
Can we do that in LT?
While it is not possible to create geometric and dimensional constraints in AutoCAD LT, they can be still viewed, edited and saved.
