I raced a snow race once on my cannondale rwd atv. It was at washougal, wa. there 18" of fresh snow over frozen ground conditions. It was hazardous driving. I screwed 1200 5/8" hex head screws into the lugs on my tires as we were warming up the bikes
I lapped everyone but 3 riders. all the 4x4's and sport bikes. There were some unhappy dudes

Thanks it was a bless to be there and film it! I didn't attend, a friend helped me with the filming! If I participate, I can't filme good shots 😁 This year was not allowed with studded tires!

3 weeks ago just purchased the new 2022 Can-Am commander 1000 R XMR Is absolute beast and snappy . And it doesn't really look much like the old commanders not even the 2021 looks more like an X3 with a dump body Super sweet rig But with a 30" mud tires in 64" wide .Yeah being as tall as it is with the ground clearance of 15". It feels tippy Out of the factory with the lowest setting I turned the shocks up twice twice to make it a little stiffer Looking at 2" wheel spacers to give it that little bit more of a stance and sturdiness. What do you folks think have you seen one yet

after watching this im going to stud my tires on my atv off to the hardware store I don;t think any of these guys had studs
No screw in studs? Are they crazy on the dirt bikes?
Did not allow the regulation this year!
Been there done that . We ice raced for years and then someone said lets have a studdless class also which compounded the injuries so that stooped in a hurry . I am 65 now and still ATV all winter long studded and if you take the time to do it properly you do not loose studs. I have tires with 20,000 winter km's on them that have not lost 1 stud . So don't give false impression to people . Think safety first . It will pay off in the long run .
