Hi Elizabeth, I have not tried the recipe with coconut milk. I have always done it with evaporated milk and find it quite delicious. If you like coconut flavor, you can give it a try. Thanks for following my video and leaving ma comments! Take care! 💕
Hi Winnie! Looks like something I like to eat! What does galangal taste like? I never tried it or heard of it. I love sea food & veggies. By the way, I like the music or song at the end of your videos ❤ Take care & its actually raining today!
Hi Carlotta! Galangal is a type of root like ginger but the taste are absolutely different from each other. Galangal is citrusy while ginger is spicy. Galangal is being used in many Thai recipe. If you make the soup and can’t find galangal, you can omit the ingredient as the Tom Yum paste would already has galangal added in it. Just don’t replace ginger for galangal, it would totally ruin your soup. Hope the information helps! Thank you for the feedback on the video! I love to hear feedback so that I know what everyone likes or don’t like😍! It has been raining where I am too which is great cuz my car needs a little wash☺️. Take care, my friend! 💕

Instead of evaporated milk I think I would use coconut milk. I think it's more authentic right?

Actually, the evaporated milk is more authentic in Thailand. However, I prefer the taste of coconut milk and have always just used that.
