I find current events in Africa very interesting. I believe Sagna is right in calling for West Africa to unite and form a federation just like what East Africa is intending to do. Unlike in the east though, West African leaders seem unwilling to give up personal interests for the good of the people.
Some are not. Some leaders are willing to do what needs to be done to pit their country & their people first, like the leaders of AES. Others are slaves of the IMF and foreign investors. They only care about their own pockets and estates.
A federation is possible, but a complete shift in governance like that would take time, maybe even generations. The youths seem to be open to change though, so if more forward-thinking people get into positions of power, there could still be hope.
How proud I am of this brave man! Well done again, bro. We stand for you and by your side. Proudly Senegalese, Proudly African
