The Immigration system has been flawed for a long time. Took my ea wife 14 years to get her citizenship. She came to the US at age 4.... she got her citizenship in 2001. If there wasn't a problem, why would it take 14 years of constant and persistent struggle? Not to mention that was years ago and not anywhere near the influx we've had recently. I saw this story on a liberal news station and they Didn't even mention the text messages or that the supposed victims knew their attackers.
I also think if you come to our country you need to speak English. I was a truck driver for 22 years old and it got to a that i say 60 to 70% of the drivers didn't speak English and it made it hard for drivers, shippers and receivers can't communicate with them anymore. That make our jobs harder than it should be. Also the highway patrol cant communicate with them to do inspections on trucks. Its ridiculous.

Part of the problem is the fees that immigrants have to pay are expensive. If the Biden administration truly wants to help legal immigrants come into this country. Tell them to come through designated access points. And maybe we can come to a agreement on wether we can help pay any and all expenses associated with becoming a citizen. But you must acclimate. Or we can help you get a Visa but you must adhere to whatever is required to stay here for it's duration. And then leave when it expires. Or go for a extension.
Questions that no one seemed to ask: How did these non-citizens get cars, drive them around, how did they get firearms? Where are they getting the money for the gaa if they aren't citizens? How did they afford a cell phone? Seems to me they almost don't need citizenship. They pretty much have it all already. Wtf.

I am in total agreement on all seeking to become citizens of this country be able to read and speak English. This has been in place in order for all coming here to understand our constitution and the rights and laws vested in them. Oddly enough the justice system has become so convoluted that only lawyers claim to understand it and only lawyers are qualified to be judges to interpret it. If the guy in the red cadillac had tried to deescalate this situation by moving closer to the perpetrators it's likey they would have turned on him and made him an assault victim. In his defense even though there is no audio there are messages before hand between the perpetrators suggesting that their scene would be loud enough that any onlooker would believe a violent crime was being committed.
I can say, from person experience, that sometimes helping someone can get you into big trouble. I helped a woman in a shopping mall parking lot that was being physically and verbally abused by her boyfriend, i didn't know that at the time but none the less ahe was getting her butt beat by this guy, anyway I stopped my vehicle and got out to stop the guy and when he saw me he pulled out a knife, a big knife, so I pulled out my concealed handgun and told him to drop the knife. About that time a city police officer pulls up and immediately throws me on the ground and put me in handcuffs. The guy with the knife ran. I had to pay a lawyer to keep me out of jail because they charged me with brandishing a deadly weapon. After two years I was able to get all charges dropped because the female that was getting beat actually told police that I was trying to help her.

I am not sure how I would react. It depends on the PTSD at the time and if I felt safe enough to step out without a bodyguard. Once you make entry, the act of making entry is over, so it is a past tense violation of the law, not ongoing. The act of unlawful presence (staying illegally once you have entered by any means) in this country is a violation of U.S. law,, but with only a civil, rather than criminal penalty. So illegal immigrants may have in the past violated a U.S. law with criminal penalties, that crime was in the past. Them remaining in the country illegally, is more a civil matter with no jail or prison time for a penalty.
The crime (instant) was robbery(taking someone else's property by force or threat of force) or possibly aggravated robbery (same thing but with a weapon). Once the robber breaks contact and flees, the crime of robbery is over. Therefore no crimes with criminal penalties were actually being committed at the time of the actual shot. You are dismissed.
