I've always had such a soft spot for Hatori. Out of him, Shigure, and Ayame, he's the most level-headed, mature, and all around decent guy, despite likely being the one who's been hurt the most. It's amazing that he puts up with the other two and their shenanigans lol.
Being Hatori is suffering. Imagine having to put up with Shigure's...everything, being saddled with the job of reining in Ayame, dealing with Akito's tantrums, general duties as the family doctor, and suffering from heartbreak cause you were born into a cult. At least he gets a happy ending. He deserves it.
