    Just want to say as a sugaring enthusiast, your hair follicles begin to collapse after the first time. For anyone new to or terrified of hair removal or have been traumatized. This sounds worse than it is as basically the roots thin, and hair stops growing or grows back very soft and thin. What that means? Not as painful. The first time is rough, but push through. You’ll be glad you did.

      waxing as a beginner is often more painful, but is significantly less after. So if the 1st session seems bad, know that the 2nd time wont
      feel the same.

    I have a tip for those who have extremely sensitive skin (Such as myself, I have Demophraism and eczema and after literally any form of hair removal my skin is irritated and hot for a while, Sugaring is the only method that doesn't present these effects for a long period of time.) don't use oil or oil with incense as they can actually further irritate the skin. I would suggest cleaning the area gently then putting either Aloe Vera (the pure stuff straight from the leaf) or just some sensitive skin lotion and/or do both! This has helped reduce the redness faster and allow all the heat from my skin to cool quicker then if I used oil. Anyway, Love these sugaring videos!! They are super helpful

    Hi girl ! I'm doing electrolysis cause I've been waxing, tweezing my sideburns since I saw hair on my face and it turns to real beard hair (strong, thicker, more darker than my red curly-kinky hair and coarse). It's the best investment I've done for these bad boys. It's a bit painful but it so well deserved ! I have more sideburns and in one session I've never seen them since june 2019. I'm doing this on my chin too, amazing too ! Do not try laser on the face, especially if you're sensitive with your hormones (PCOS, thyroid low/high...).

    Even tho I struggle with swelling and pimples directly after sugaring my face, both of you keep me going and even progressing in sugar waxing. For example after watching some of abetweene videos about sugaring her face, I understood that maybe I won't get swelling and acne if I use spatula and strips instead of my hand when sugaring my face. I think having watery clay mask leaves a thin layer on face which is easy to remove but not give ideal results. Best way to do is to make the mask slightly thicker and apply quarter to half inch thick layer of the mask. Uf your mask goes rock hard, you can either submerge your face in warm water or keep applying water to face till it softens. Don't be aggressive and vigorously rubbing your mask off before it's properly wet again. Remember, clay masks are basically sand that goes in a cycle form, water + clay = clay paste - water = hard clay + water = clay paste. Hard clay when grinded becomes clay powder.

I sugar waxed my face and it left me with big super painful pimples all around my face (that turned into acne scars 😢) Ive been waxing my body for 3 years now and recently decided to try my face. TRUST ME I took all the precautions of cleaning my skin before and after, etc. My facial hair is also on the thick side so that may have also played a role. Just pls take precautions and do a strip test under your jawline first and wait at least two days before doing this. Also sugar waxing on skin is not for everyone all skin is different and reacts differently.

After a while the hair gets really thin and stop growing.. once I wax my face I use coconut oil to dermaplan the whole face and it becomes so smooth and clear.

    Loved the video and I am absolutely doing this! I have two questions though. What can we use instead of the face mask you used in the beginning? Also can we use any diy sugar wax or does it have to be the strip one? Is there a consistency that is preferred for the face Thankssss 🫶

    • @abetweene
      @abetweene Год назад

      you can skip the mask, its just a personal choice i incorporate. i would recommend strip sugar specifically for the face because its suitable for those finer vellous hairs.

    This appears to work well for you which is great! Though others following this may want to apply the sugar or wax in the direction the hair grows then pull the hair in the opposite direction of the growth.

    hi, idk if you’ll see this but in case you do; if my skin is naturally oily, can i put setting powder on my face to help the waxing process?
    normally, my natural oil on certain parts of my face (inconveniently, the ones i wanna wax) doesn’t completely disappear with a cleanser, but i’ve seen you put powder on your arm in another waxing video so i was wondering if this would work
    thank you and lots of hugs from south america!

    A small mistake, “G force” is force due to gravity. You can not use it to describe force acting on your skin from another object.

    I tried you medium firm sugar wax, It worked for my underarm, legs and arms and I used it with a wooden spatula, I did not knead it . But It didn't work for my Face, Which wax sugar are you using in this video ? do you have the recipe in a video ? THAAAAAANKS a lot

    • @abetweene

      a softer sugar is usually required for the face so thats why im using strip sugar, so i recommend that. the tutorial for that is linked in the description box ♥️

    About the strip wax, I have tried applying the wax same way as my hair growth and pulling it in the opposite end. It has worked and I haven’t seen any difference, yet, when do the technique you mentioned it almost never sticks well and the hair is not pulled from the roots...

    • @randallN-sw6ee
      @randallN-sw6ee 4 года назад +1

      If you have thick hair follicles and high hair density, a soft strip wax will not work as well. A firm or hard wax that is gently heated to body temperature works better for stubborn hair
