I still love my LV reverse monogram *preluxz* lutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

Luxury clothing is usually dry clean only. Professionals need to maintain it. The cost doesn’t end at the register
Yea. Totally. Now I only look for washable RTW. All these dry clean only garment, nope - not my lifestyle 😩🤪
Thanks for sharing your experience. It is SO interesting that almost all your duds are my absolute all time best buy ever. I have silk LV dress, K32, VCA 5 motif etc. I personally don’t wash ANY silk item, just professional dry clean, they shrunk, let alone colour transfer if they are 100% silk. K32 is great for day to day, I can put my iPad in. I wear it on shoulder or crossbody. You don’t need to use your leg to lift at all. However, your lifestyle sounds like you carry your life with you 😂. I often think why people think luxury equal indestructible. Luxury means luxury, you don’t NEED to carry your life with you everywhere, you travel light, you have assistants to work for you at work etc. I hate to say, luxury really is EXTRAVAGANT (or extra) rather than practical. Kat, try use a good laptop bag, there are loads. Laptops are heavy, by the time you load charger, notepad, pens, cables, honestly just get a light laptop bag. I would say Birkin, Kelly for work are for people have cars, have assistants to carry other stuff for them at work, or just going shopping (again in your own car or taxi), not on public transport. Try to use cheaper, meant to be indestructible bags (rain, sun, scratch proof) for your lifestyle, also wear cheap (often light) jewellery to work. Leave the luxury items for the occasions or one day, your luxury lifestyle really matches with it. I wear mine with care, and plan ahead where I am going if the places match up to it. I travel on business class, I won’t carry my Kelly etc on it, because some business short haul flights are just front row economy seats with extra seats. I can’t bear to have no proper, clean space to put my bag! I think your duds buy are actually user errors and reality check. ❤❤

I like my jewelry to be very light too! I finally purchased the vca sweet Alhambra in mother of pearl and I just love it! I've been wearing it non-stop since I got it and I love that I don't feel it. It's such a great piece! ❤

Great vid Kat! I have the same H sneakers except with removable shearlings foot pads. I agreed with you that they are a bit heavy. But, after wearing for some times now the leather got much softer and doesn’t seem that heavy. Prob I got used to wearing it. Should have brought the bouncing sneakers😮. Oh well, it was part of my pre spending with a happy ending of getting a B25. Have a great week ahead.

Oh my gosh I totally agree with you on the vca necklace I had it in white gold that was heavy too. I sold it after 2 weeks. I realized I preferred the sweet alahambra. It’s much lighter.
Yea, and it’s hard to know until we actually HAVE it . Coz in the store, the weight doesn’t reveal itself. It just feels like “oooo, solid gold” lol

I agree with your points on Kelly. I have the same one but in black. I rarely use it exactly because it's hard to close without using your thigh! I still opt for the Toolbox 26 and Lindy 26; those two are my buddies for almost every single day.

Same. I no longer have my Kelly 28 because I was so bothered by the difficulty in closing and opening it - when I am out and about I always have to access my phone and wallet quickly, and my K28 was an absolute nightmare in that regard. I still have my mini Kelly because I only use that for special occasions so I don’t fuss with my things as often. I think I want to try a B25 instead - an open tote bag style or one with an easy zipper is what works best for me!
@@cecillesalvan I rarely use my B25 either because I can't hang it on my shoulder. And the handles aren't tall enough as the B30. I still use it for special occasions but not for daily use. That's why I love the Toolbox 26 which has a strap and when held with my arm, it still has a touch of the Kelly look.

I have a few pairs of really weighty shoes and granted they felt heavy on the feet for a few weeks 😅 but they felt normal after continuous use and may be unrelated but I have a bad back and hip pain as well

I love belts and couldn't resist buying them, but the one I always reach is my Gucci belt (somehow feels casual and nice fit for my jeans). My H buckle bi-color (etoupe and black) belt has been sitting in the box. I guess sometime we buy things for their beauty and not for functionality.

Isn’t it so true that some things make perfect sense in our heads just don’t work out in real life. Your LV blouse is so pretty but terrible that the color ran.
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials-brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 *condup* backpack replica - also good for comparison - I can't find any differences and still use it in the gym

Def shocked about the Kelly belt Kat. I use my white one constantly in the summer and spring. and my black one constantly in the fall and winter. I wish I would have discovered this in my 20’s. I would have SAVED a lot of money on belts. I hope you find things to wear with it. Black and white are usually sold out the website.
Yea, it’s a current lifestyle dud! HOPEFULLY I find the perfect dress or pants to go with it, which is why I am hanging on to it. But then, I should have waited to buy it lol 😂
I have multiple kelly belts and also the 32 belts. I chose a very understated buckle for the 32 tho. I love them all and wear with jeans even. I just March my shoe to either the leather or the hardware color.
Absolutely spot on.. the sneakers are pretty nice till ya get used to the weight... but totally understood it might be an issue if ya have knee issue.
yea, now that it is out from the cupboard (thanks to the video) i'm trying to wear it more and get used to the weights ...who knows, it might strengthen my legs haha

All my h sneakers are comfortable.i buy half size or full size up.
Good advice to try bigger sizes. So far, 50-50 on the sneakers for me. The boucing sneakers are ok but these (I think vantage?) are just too heavy for my liking
@@KatL to be honest,i rarely wear close shoes in sg.i lived there before moving here in spain.its hot to wear close shoes aside when i am at work. Its slippers and sandals all the way as my go to foot wear in sg.

All of my Hermes sneakers are extremely uncomfortable. Even a new pair of the Bouncing style that look like they'd be comfortable are not. Love the look of H shoes but find none of them feel good.
Interesting, the bouncing are ok for me . Would I run out and buy another pair…? No. lol but if I HAD for the journey 🙄 , at least these work. Lolxxxxx

yup it did and i totally risked it! which is why i didn't go back yelling at LV coz it's actually my fault. But what's strange is that all my other silks from Hermes and tops from local silk houses - all say dry clean too - but i have washed all of them (like a quick 5-8 min wash & spin, no soaking) , none bled. This top from LV, was like watercolour .
Only when you choose an item for its quality rather than the hyper-expensive luxury label and logo, will you get value for your money.
When you itemised your physical difficulties with hips and knees etc, I thought the heavy, and basically ill-fitting, Hermes trainers are a disaster. You'll never be able to wear them. You won't want to hear this (I am old and had to learn the hard way) but those ailments of yours aren't going to magically get better. Consider your body first. There are some fine trainers out there that can support and protect your feet and that arent a heavy drag on a vulnerable body. Get rid of the Hermes duds.
