Great and helpful video! Can you do that so click detector has a cooldown. Like: When you click on a part You cant click anymore. Then a few seconds later, you can click.
I think a Roblox update broke something or for some reason they changed the functionality in the past few days. I'll try to post a Bug Report to the DevForum. I have been having the same issue as well!

No, click detectors span the entire block. however you can make a transparent block that barely sticks out of the part you want to use and make that the clickdetectors parent, which will essentially do what you want but not physically modifying the clickdetector.
About the script that can let you swap between the states of the button on click (starts off as green, on click it turns red, and then after clicking it again it turns green again and so on), how do you do that using a variable, because I dont want to have to change a property of a part to do that.
