Doughnuts are pastries. How do they not know that. That was the weirdest critique I've ever heard. If they are getting technical then cheesecakes aren't proper cakes. It's more of a pie dessert.

Cheesecake is NOT pastry y'all. No. It's a whole other video (A delicious video, that you should totally do!). I'm a classically trained chef, went to cooking school and everything. Pastry is a danish, éclair, turnover, or something else made with DOUGH. That donut was the closest thing to pastry in this video.
