would love to know whats currently being requested by buyers, if there's a section or options to commission/freelance from specific designer, and maybe have a monthly number/report of what was sold last month?

Unfortunately, Patternbank doesn’t give specific analytics like Etsy or Creative Market does. However, they give Trend insights on their trend page. Title your designs the same keywords as the trend.. this is helpful! Also, florals are always in demand. :)

This is a great introductory video to Patternbank. I do wonder, however, how a buyer of a 'Personal' license would use it, given that it's not for commercial use. An individual usually does not have access to POD sites, in order to print to fabric. What other uses are there for this 'Personal' license?

Good question! They would use it for personal projects like if they were printing invitations for a kid’s birthday or sewing curtains for their own house. Anything that would NOT entail selling the artwork. ☺️🎉

    What causes a trend?

That is such a great question! I think trends emerge from a need to define ourselves at this particular moment in time. From a product standpoint, customers always want newness which is why retailers like to jump on trends at a certain point. I go a lot more in depth in this podcast episode if you'd like to listen: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/design-tribe-podcast/id1342485047?i=1000531651362

i dont think they will survive. eventually, they'll forget about this high quality idea and go back to masses because the truth is, theres no better quality here than anywhere else
