I have recently made a few brackets, but I always come back to one of your quick tutorials like this one. Fantastic! Thanks!
this yt channel has been very helpful for me as a paracord enthusiast
Your presentation & pausing is perfect for following along with paracord in hand. Thanks!
ogenmatic oh my goodness I'm so freaking good
Thank you so much for this tutorial! So clearly shown and explained. I can finally do this now!
Thank you very much for the free ebook :-)
what a clean neat way to tie into the buckles!
I made the cow hitch with 2 colors and it works perfect. Keep going this way. Yolanda
Yolanda Torrijos Sanchez Nice! That would look great too.
Than you for all tutorials 🎉
Thanks for putting this video on your channel I was struggling to figure it out 😁😁😁
Just simple it'. Thanks brow
TQVM for this tutorial. Easy to understand...😎😎👍👍
Awwwwww não acredito!!!! Thanks a lot!!! Im beginner and your work is sooo beautiful!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cheers Tim ,I needed this for the Pokémon bracelets for my grandsons X 3 ,,got yellow , got to get red & blue ,, its weird watching them walk down the street shouting "One ere , One ere " or " Got that one",,. Thanks again Alf
That's great Alf! Glad I could help you out and you could be a part of your grandsons's current past time!
Thank you! Super helpful
You make it look simple! Thanks.
You're welcome! I always strive to make all my tutorials easy to understand.
Love the tutorial very good
LOL... I just ran across this today... I was just going to do a video on this... I'm glad someone did...
very helpful when using bigger buckels, thanks so much
Thank you! Very clear and done patiently! :D
This is amazing!
Thanks Charlie!
big thanks from Lupon, Philippines
thx Tim, thi will give it a so much cleaner and profesional look. I'm looking forwart to see this used. thx
You're welcome Clive, I really like the cleaner look as well. You'll definitely see this being used a lot! :)
Question: what do you do with the 2 working cords if you don't need to use them?
Nice video! I like the look this adds to the bracelet.
Billy Crumpton Thanks! Yeah, it really adds to the overall look of the bracelet.
Tim i seriously busted out with a hysterical laugh you go...
“Soooo, think of it like you gotta go in, then go that way, then go back out- Hope that makes sense.” Although you sure didn’t sound too confident about it. I’m crying from laughing so hard.
Thing is I probably won’t ever forget the double cows hitch now. Idk why but that really just made me laugh so hard.
Hahaha! Kim, I'm glad my sometimes nonsensical instructions made you laugh and not angry like it has to some other people. That is one of the reasons why I now do commentary and shooting separately lol!
Gracias buena idea
Hey Tim will you ever do some video's of backpack customization with paracord? I would like to get some ideas for doing zipper pulls and other useful modifications for decking out backpacks.
what size buckle is that?
Thanks for your help.
You're welcome!
Amazing video
Aaron Gill Thanks!
Gracias por la información, la terminación del brazalete queda mejor presentada.
Roberto Cariaga You're welcome! :)
How do you know how much cord to cut off in the first place? Is there a formula for sizing?
Hi there, so it depends on the bracelet and pattern that is being made for the amount of cord needed and it will vary from project to project. As for sizing, I've never been the best at sizing, but Paracord Guild made a great blog post about that here: www.paracordguild.com/bracelet-sizing/
thanks for you tutorial
Also if you type weavers of eternity on RUclips you get one other channel with same logo and everything with some of your tutorials idk if jts a second channel but just so you know
TheRifleAddict Yeah, that's my old channel.
Hey Tim, what other bracelets (aside from the sanctified one) employ the two strand cow hitch?
great tip, thanks
Espectacular
how many more inches should the longer side be than the other cord
Awesome
*The_Force* 7 :D!
Thanks for the tutorial Tim, how much extra cord would you recommend to allow for the double cows hitch?
E.g. For an 8" bracelet- 8' cord +?
9 and 1half feet
Cheers Josh, I appreciate you taking the time to reply
U should do a vid bout bracelet shown in th is video
cool
Awesome! Is there any way to make a 3 strand pass for a 5/8" buckle acheiving a similar symmetry where 4 strands is slightly too big and 2 strands a bit too small?
I am also looking for a way to do a 3 strand core and cant seem to find one!
Are there weaving patterns that require a 3 strand core, if so, I've never seen any.
When sizing a bracelet when u attached the buckle do u count the buckle it the size or just the paracord that is in between buckle if any 1 can help please
Aaron Gill i personally add the buckle to the size because people that have bought from me like there bracelets lose not tight
Aaron Gill Yes, take into account the buckle because it will add some length to the bracelet.
how much extra cord do i need to pull out to do this setup?
The extra cord would be the core strands, so just determine the length of your bracelet and add a couple inches extra just to be safe.
thanks. i might try this tonight. im a little tied up making minions right now
what size buckle is that
That buckle is a 1 1/4" buckle. I wouldn't personally use a buckle that large for a bracelet, but that's just personal preference
Hey Tim I've been subbed for a long time I can't remember exactly how long but I've seen a lot of your stuff but it's my birthday the 7th of August and I was hoping you could make a bracelet in the colors blue and green green is my number one favorite color and blue is second I'm not asking you to send it to me but j just want you to make it int those colors and if you want to send it it's fine but that's all I ask
TheRifleAddict I'll see what I can do. ;)
Thanks man I'm not new to paracord but I'm not the best I try to do my own things with finishing off things I recently did a paracord necklace using the paraclat braiding method with grey and neon green
Такое мощное плетение, а вот эти пластмассовые застёжки доверия не внушают...
Just wanted to say :NEVER BUY PARACORD FROM HOME DEPOT
yaa
eZ EGY SZ...AR!
If you send the viewer to another of your tutorials you should put the address on the video, just say look at my tutorial. I looked but found nothing relevant .I looked through all you tutorials but did not find one where it showed you to do the 4 strand set up with two different colours as is needed for this tutorial. Better still start the whole tutorial from the start. If you already have a tutorial just carry on from there.
Great video minus the boring mind dumbing music some like to use.
Must have dumbed your mind down quite a bit because the proper term is "mind numbing" lol
Just to even thing's up a bit, In England, what you call a "Cow's Hitch" is called a "Lark's Head" knot or hitch. Now, I may be biased, but I reckon a Lark's Head sounds much nicer than a Cow's Hitch! Whatever it's called, your method of using Lark's Head knots on both ends of the bracelet is great and gives a much better finish to the work.
Just for fun, here's a RUclips video of how to tie a Lark's Head knot.:
ruclips.net/video/WyzUmetVJFA/видео.html
PS: Thank you for your instuctional videos, I've learned a lot! :)
To bad you don’t link a video to a simple bracelet you use it on. You mention one super complicated bracelet in the beginning and nothing else. Your beginner videos lack allot of information. You teach us the basic for that double cow hitch but no beginner applications for it.
Look through playlist or video list
There are loads of paracord tutorials for a variety of applications from beginner to advanced
Really helpfull video ¡Thank You!
sebastian cruz You're welcome!
