Thanks Rula for the review after your live build. Quite an impressive display with the latest iteration of your diorama coming together. You never know what Indi Jack might get up too in the future. You and Hooky have both been great inspirations to look upon for thoughts and ideas. Cheers 🍻
@@helenbachaus9468 Thank you Helen for checking out the live stream builds. Always great to have a good company around. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the display diorama I’ve put together for north africa and this recent Indi addition. And thank you for your kind words, its always good to feed from each other creativity, considering there are so many talented builders in the lego military community.
@@AsapAnimation Great work with the kit, really enjoyed this build! And agreed, truck and bf109 work very nicely together. I think addition of the watch tower is was great idea also, loved the roof technic used and frame connections. Not often you get non-vehicle side builds like this from bkm. well done!
Great review Rula! You can't go wrong with this really great DAK minifigures! Also the set has a surprising high number of very interesting prints! Well done. :)
Thank you for watching Hooky and coming by to the live build. Figures are pretty good, originally I thought one of the figs was exact the same as stand alone bkm DAK kar98 rifleman, but it actually had a completely different print work, so I do appreciate that extra effort from designers. Overall i think its decent pick up considering the purchase price and kinda goes along well with the rest of my north africa german collection. And of course I will be on a look out for (hopefully some more) Frank’s unintentionally “discounts”😀
@@Rula2020 The last few Saturday evenings have been pretty busy, so missed most of your live streams. Lucky us that Indiana "Jack" was very liberate with the timeline of his adventures so we get to enjoy additional DAK soldiers with his Saturday Afternoon Matinee adventures. I would love to get the Italian minifigures in the "AS 42 Sahariana" but I won't spend close to 300 Euro for them. Maybe a good opportunity for Frank to introduce some more additional discounts. ;) Hopefully Brickizimo will "drop" the Italian WW2 paratroopers at some point. ;)
No worries, we all got lives to live. Yes considering “accuracy” of german vehicles used and timeline, historical accuracy was not a priority in this movie. But I am sure 99% of cinema goers didn’t care, brave archeologist just needed some bad guys to fight and blow in typical 80s hollywood movie fashion. Sahariana is a sure nice little kit with great mini-figures, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for a sale there. And an italian paratrooper is looking really good, hopefully brickizimo will add it. I am currently waiting out for a new a german half track, hopefully one will be still released this year.
yes definitely happy about this set pick up and thank you for coming by and checking out live builds. And btw I saw your last comment before I ended the stream yesterday 👍
Great review Rula, this kit has great moc potential. Sorry to have missed the last few streams. For some reason the RUclips chat system during live streams has not been working for me. It might be my browser. I might try and change it for the next stream.
@@spooky2bricks Thanks Spooky2Bricks! It was a great build and a good addition to my DAK collection for sure. No worries at all. It would be for sure great to chat with you during live builds if technically possible.
Very nice buy my man! And awesome price (In Frank we Trust). The set looks awesome and I really like how they designed that tower. It fits so well in your North Africa moc, it really adds more character! Also, I wanted to ask. Which battle are you going to do for you winter moc in the upper shelf? Have a nice day my man!
Thanks for watching John. Yes, this “unintentional” discount was definitely much welcome :D and glad that Frank actually honored the purchase price here. I agree I think its definitely a great addition to my north africa layout considering there is bf109 to fuel and watch tower is for sure well/ accurately designed to what in the movie. I am planning to do 1944 battle of Narva. which took place in eastern Estonia from february to august. mine will be mostly winter diorama, thats the goal. slowly been acquired some parts for it already now. I think I might talk a bit more about it in my next haul video. Have a great the rest of the week man!

First of all that tower is very good what you build in live good details and that fuel truck looks good too 👍

@@Rula2020yea,last second before u end it 😂
Great vid
Thanks man
of course that Fuel Lorry is loosely inspired by the LEGO Indiana Jones version. brickmania knew what they were doing 😉
yeah for sure. but I appreciate that brickmania does their version that Lego will probably not gonna do (again), which is soldiers and military.
Nice video I like this set
