    I enjoyed watching your video on Authentik. I found it to be very informative and well-done.
    I would have liked to see more about how to configure integrations with Portainer. Specifically, I would have liked to see how to create a new application.
    I think this would have been a valuable addition to the video, as it would have shown viewers how to create a new application in Authentik.
    Overall, I thought your video was great. I learned a lot from it, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning more about Authentik.
    Thanks for creating such a helpful video!

      Definitely going to cover this as well as other applications as well. If I try to cram too many objectives into one video it becomes kinda messy. The great thing is when I make the video about the integration with Portainer I can now just reference this video for people to watch instead of explaining it again :)

      Working in the field really makes you aware on the tools being used

    Hey Nick, another great video yet again. I know you have advised your not doing specific applications with Authentik. But it would be great if you could combine this with say Plex and even adding Traefik in the mix also. I've been struggling with these three in particular for awhile now, so a video showing it would be absolutely fantastic.

    Any guess on what percentage of applications this will work? RUclips, banking.....just curious as to what "outliers" will still need to be dealt with.

      Most commercial grade applications will support OAuth but when it comes to open source it can be hit and miss, it would be hard to put a percentage on it.
      RUclips and Banking use their own auth and you can’t integrate your own as far as I am aware

    Great vid. But the dark mode for this app looks quite dark

      Ah, apologies for that. In the Docs and the App you can change it to light mode :)

    Is this just another caddy server?

    • @Techdox
      @Techdox  11 месяцев назад

      Hey! So, Authentik and Caddy are different tools for different jobs. Authentik is focused on identity and access management, essentially managing user access to applications. Caddy, meanwhile, is a web server designed for easy configuration, including automatic HTTPS. They're both useful, just in different areas of tech.

    Great information and presentation. Too much time spent on disclaiming what wouldn't be covered

      Thanks, yeah I was more trying to say and get the message across that I would cover application setup etc in another video :) As I knew people would ask
