I am an optometric technician for an optometrist and them saying they’ve worn their contacts for a year straight is probably our worst nightmare to hear. you can get infection, a corneal abrasion, ulcers, and edema by wearing your contacts that long and not giving your eyes oxygen to breathe. That really worries me that they don’t take out their contacts more often especially the dailies 😅 if they do see this comment, there is a contact brand called air optix night and days that you can sleep in for up to a month . honestly, if they’re really going to not take care of their contacts at least that would be the better route

🤓 Tara is so right its very high risk of infection 🤮 Terrible for your corneas. If you get an ulcer it can scar your cornea and depending on the location you could permanently loose vision. Ulcers are painful as hell.. you'd never do it again. Also if you're lucky and not getting an infection at minimum your getting corneal neovascularization which can also damage your cornea and cause scaring... so proud of you Tara for getting after the guys!! 🎉bravo sis.. take these guys shopping for some glasses! 👓 or just get LASIK and be done with it (I did ... it's the besttt) omg then later Zach says hes afraid of PINK EYE ☠️

Hey guys doubt you’ll see this but I gotta tell you as someone who did the same thing with contacts. They can damage and scar your retinas. I had to take medicated drops and if they didn’t work my doc said they literally have to remove your eye to prevent infections. Please change your contacts.

I'm so petrified to sleep in mine because someone I know had to have emergency surgery because they slept in them and they pretty much glued to their eyes (if you wear contacts you know the feeling) and when they took them out, it tore their eye!!

Mentally you sit across a table from someone you are bargaining with. If you sit on the same side you are pointing out to the world for your journey together. You are subconsciously making yourself a salesman if you sit across the table from a date. Also you are warping your retinas when you don’t change your contacts or remove them at night.
1st date should always be facing eachother because you want the date to have some silences and be a little awkward staring at eachother.
This is important because people will not think of you romantically if the 1st date is comfortable and chill. The will wrongly assume that you are “just a friend” and will friendzone you.
After you get a little spark its okay to start sitting next to them, especially since it allows you to be closer and to have more opportunities for touching eachother/kissing.

I work for a retina specialist and have worked in the optometry field for 5 years now.. the things I’ve seen.. please only wear your contacts for as long as recommended and get night and days if you wanna sleep in them! Over wearing and sleeping in your contacts will lead to infections, and dry eye, dry eye comes along with a whole bunch of bad for your eyes. 👀
