😭 I’ve been a CS major for 2 years and to this day this is how I am. Idek what the hell is happening in class but I still pass. I feel like CS is very simple (which is why I pass) but the logic and the reasoning professors put in makes it unnecessarily difficult for the student. CS teachers that can explain very quickly and simply are the BEST teachers and I mean it.
I'm planning on doing CS when I'm older but I'm really bad at maths will this affect anything or make things harder.
@@amanathussain1024 idk in my experience it shouldn’t affect it too much i suck at math but pass all cs subjects fine (they dont but too much math into programming and shit u just need to pass the math subject by itself thats the annoying part but all cs subjects are fine and are just out of the most basic math from middle school at least in my experience)

I’m a junior in CS and I wish I can say I relate. I never know what is going on and I spend forever programming it’s so stressful and tons and tons and tons of studying about complex subjects. :/

Lol, really good! From the CS side, showing CTCI and Leetcode (although easy), was a good move. The failing courses, procrastination, and not giving a f is spot on. Also, really glad you didn't show any Java. Sick of all the script kiddies complaining about their semicolons. Python is exactly what ppl use for tech interviews anyways.

I’m switching my major from soft. Engineering to pre-med next sem. So far I see CS is pretty accurate 😂😂. I shall return.

@Martha Speaks the thing is that I actually did want to go to premed beforehand but I got scared and decided to go for software engineering instead. Now after a year of it I realised I regretted that decision because this was never the path I envisioned for myself so I decided to take a leap and just go for it. I think covid helped me make this extreme choice because I was always too afraid of failing in the end and now after covid I realised that if I was going to fail anyway, I’ll fail doing what I wanted to do, not something I was forcing myself to do lol.

I really thought I was going to like my pre req classes to get into the program but im literally regretting my decision of majoring in pre nursing. when I was in highschool i really enjoyed my anatomy honors class but its nothing compared to university classes. I now dread the thought of becoming a nurse...

hey im in cs second year at this is on point but me im failing my second year classes dont know why i picked this program and SUPER bad at programming that i literally got through bc of an easy teach i look at my first year programming still dont know how to do any of that and I feel like an imposter bc i am LOL and my parents are indian so i cant back out and i dont want but HELPPPPPPPPP im so dumb at programming and dont understand it quickly and cant apply math to anything bc im bad at it give me answers plzzzzzzzzzzzz WILL I GET THROUGH THISSSSS
If you wanna know my perspective: I basically always feel like an imposter, it doesn’t feel like I’m progressing at all and sometimes it’s really hard to keep going BUT thinking about where I started and where I am now it actually is a big difference.
Don’t be too hard on yourself. Yes there are a few programming geniuses but most of us are just doing our best trying not to show how inadequate we feel.
You’ll get through this and you’re not alone :)

Damn it sounds like CS isn't right for you. Is there something else you're interested it? I'm doing CS and I have Indian parents who wanted me to do this (even tho I was actually interested in bio) but I think CS is working out for me lmao. But maybe you could talk to your parents about how hard it is? Ik it's really scary and really hard to talk to your parents about stuff like this but if it's absolutely affecting you very much and if you really are unable to keep up with CS then that's the best option for you.

@@tianaaa6655 made it thru first year fine, but this summer couse is very tiring and im starting to understand what they all mean by u wont sleep, u learn a little bit of everything and due dates are very near and i dont know if i would recommend it to anyone unless you are realllyyy into the material. professors barely teach me anything, most of it is self learnt using youtube, and groupwork is a pain in the ass because everything is thrown at u and most dont work

In the US there computational biology which usually is a track of computer science, and universities like MIT have medical CS too.

If u got admission in mbbs,then go for it, otherwise cs is a fantastic field,at least better than other medical fields. I studied medical in fsc part 1 and then switched to cs

I don't like the depiction. Sure CS major students can be lazy, because they expect it will be fine. But go to any better university and I can bet with you CS don't have any free time either. Also I would like to say, in my university 70% of medical students finnish their program (be it general medicine or dentistry), but only 5% to 10% ( 700-800 -> 350 Bc, 300 -> 60 M.Sc) finnish their 5-year computer science degree, partialy, because they don't study, but mainly, because it's f* hard.
Hi, Thanks for your video. I really wish you answer my question. I am ambitious to become a doctor. I had physics, chemistry and biology in my grade 11 and 12. I then did my bachelors in computer engineering (GPA: 3.75) and then did my masters in computer science(GPA: 3.25) . I now want to give MCAT and then apply for Doctor of Medicine in Canada. I would like to know if I am eligible to apply directly or any tips for me to become a doctor? TIA.
I am not sure about the requirements in Canada, but in the US, as long as you took the prerequisite courses in undergrad or you take them in post-bacc (like organic chemistry, bio, physics, etc), that with the MCAT is enough to apply.

Yes, kind of. With a CS degree, you can make 100k USD from the get-go (depending on where you are in the US). Whereas with medicine, you will have to pay thousands in med school tuition, then get paid pretty low in residency before making those six figures!
