What a coincidence, I too came to listen to this song after I just finished a rewatch of this amazing drama....loved it just as much. Truly one of the good ones!
The duet, rather after the first song, was sung by the two leading stars. How talented they are as they can act and sing well. I feel that this drama did not gain a better viewership because of the storyline as it featured too many killings. Notice the comments posted after every episode were by non-Chinese speakers who praised the drama because it was so emotional. Many also commented that all they see is killing in virtually every episode. There was uproar over episode 37 in which the doctor is killed by Zhan because he lost Yu and wanted Juang to suffer the rest of his life without the doctor. Scenes had to be deleted as the subject dealt with the deep love between the doctor and the policeman. If this drama had been made in Taiwan, then I am sure there would be less censorship as Taiwan passed a law in 2019 to allow gay marriages, one of the first Asian nations to do so.
