You all probably dont care at all but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
Evinrude is stopping production of their outboards along with the Volvo pentas Sevens. I wouldn’t recommend buying either brand. Even though they’re both great motors and look great too
this is great alfred , you have 27 k views , which is probably more seriously interested viewers than what was even seen at the show . especially for the " less popular " engines ... the really sad part is that life is way to short to try them all
Great video! I just upgraded my 22ft boat with a Mercury 150hp XL EFI to a 26ft DC with a Mercury Verado 300 AMS DTS. When it comes to outboards, I only consider two brands: Mercury and Yamaha. I'm glad that there's options though for everyone 🙂
Great video Alfred, each outboard has so many pros vs cons. I have always had Yamaha, but those Evinrudes are catching my eye when it's time to repower my pathfinder. Between the 7 year warranty, 500 hour maintenance. To be honest I'm surprised about the lack of warranty for the suzuki if it's used in a commercial application. I don't see many hondas on the water, but I suspect they're as reliable as their vehicles.
It’s funny how he says there will be an up charge for the white engine because white is a premium color, Technically white is not a color it is the absence of color! White has never been on The traditional color wheel! Just be honest and say you are charging more because it is so popular!
@@luckydog6975 No no they didn’t. They just stopped making the large 2-Stroke motors! I don’t wanna steer anyone wrong so please do your own research but I think I’m right on this.
A digital rpm meter like that is terrible. There is absolutely no need to see the rpm change every tenth of a second. Would irritate me big time in the corner of my eye. Just digitally slow that sample time down to once per second maybe and let it change in steps of 5 or ten or maybe even 50 revs instead of per rev. It can be important maybe to know the exact rpm when you are busy with finetuning the motor management system. But when you just drive the boat an old fashion turning needle or a stable rpm number gives a much more relaxed view on the dash.
For some reason yamaha has the best resale value on a boat in florida. Same boat for sale in same condition same hours .... the Yami gets sold quicker and for more.. just saying...
So every mark has market leading engines, how's that's possible. If we look 300hp, Evinrude looks very good on paper. After adding the oil every 50-60 hours, is it still good economy what comes to total expenses? It is quite a lottery to choose the real Best one
Great vid. If you were buying a 250, the Honda has a 5 YEAR Warrant, the Yamaha has a 3 year. The Yamaha is 70lbs lighter. Neither will probably need a lot of warranty work. Which way would you go? Thx
Love that 250. I’m looking to repower and having difficult time deciding between the Honda and Yamaha. Yamaha so proven but never owned Honda marine. Are there any folks out there running the new 250 Honda ? Any feedback surely appreciated. Have a nice weekend all. JJ
Same area we attempted to have them speak about the engines but they were unable to at the time. I told them people would give me hell if they weren't in the video. We tried but the rain didnt help either cause they had a main information guy out on the docks. They were in between seatrials and we waited like an hour. After an hour of waiting I left
Too bad evinrude stopped making motors. Pity the people who bought them . Will they support all the outboards out there? Just think this guy you talked to is out of a job now.
I own 2019 triple 300 verados on our whaler I’ve run these engines over 700 hours this past year and never had a problem the bad Mercury’s were there 2 stroke optimax They have a great warranty Boston Whaler and merc are the best boat and engine out there Also I’ve put over 300 of those hours over 5000 rpm
another great vid Alfred but I was waiting for the Seven marines, I guess they were a no show?
We tried to get them to talk about the product on camera but they were too busy
627 hp.. I bet they were busy. It’s all good brotha. Your Content is always awesome 👏
Doesn’t matter. Volvo is stopping production.
@@AlfredMontaner why doesn’t Honda build performance outboards?

It was a great show...nice to see you down there Alfred. Going to get me one of those Evinrude G2 225 HO. Awesome.

Suzuki warranty is amazing no questions they just fix it and doesn’t cost a penny more

Sad about Evinrude, but their product champion knew ten times more than the other guys. Like the Suzuki
OMG!! Lol 😂. Alfred at the Mercury booth: What about those guys with little tiny Dinghies? Do you have a solution for them? Bwahaha 🤣
Evinrude would be my choice. it's a shame they shut it down.
What did they shut down? Evinrude is probably my choice too
@@anchorsaway1062 Evinrude closed their doors they are no longer in business

Lol don't compare Yamaha to honda. Honda outboards are nowhere near Yamaha.
Thank you for sharing very good info. and contents.

they have to bring these boat engine shows here to Hawaii,
In the caribbean 99% of the fishemen uses YAMAHA ....That speak volumes for reliabiity
Yamaha needs a VMAX 300HP, never too much.
Очень круто! Спасибо!:)

Is it me or are all these companies blind to the electric motor systems coming through.
Hahaha Alfred trying to outdo me with a 1:17 min video... None is 1 h 38 mins 😜
