Prosecutors outline charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams

- Federal prosecutors presented the alleged crimes New York City Mayor Eric Adams carried out during his campaign and while he has been in office. Prosecutors outlined apparent dealings with foreign entities and alleged paid travel expenses that were not disclosed, among other crimes. CBS News' Anna Schecter has more on the charges, and contributor Caroline Polisi has more insight on the allegations.

@@tonysnow759 The full charges are for bribery, wire fraud, conspiracy and soliciting campaign contributions from foreign nationals. The travel benefits are just the frosting on top of the campaign finance and conspiracy charge cake.

Because he intervened in the fire safety permit denial for one of their buildings it becomes bribery.
This can happen in every municipality where elected officials are running rogue outside legal limits of their office. Even in Montana, Flathead County Water District 101 where the conduct of operations by the Board continually violates a myriad of Montana Code Annotated which cidifies standards of operations, to protect citizens constitutional rights (both US Federal and State of Montana).

Well if the Federal AG bringing the charges had run and been elected on the campaign promise of "Getting Mayor Adams" and promising to put Mayor Adams in prison and they were Republican taking millions in donations from GOP super pacs and if they were bringing BS Trumped up charges with no victims they would also be guilty of lawfare. So you're right, if all that was true, this case on Trumps which about to be overturned on appeal, would be exactly the same.
That is literally not how the right is viewing the situation at all.. go to any right leaning channel and view the comment section. They view this as mayor Adam's is having the FBI turned on him because he began speaking out against illegal immigration and leftoids cant afford the mayor of our largest city going off script. The right is definitely making a big deal about this.

What a police officer doesn't understand about being a politician is the fact that when your police officer and there's money around there's an Evidence Locker there's an Evidence Sergeant there's a lot of eyes on evidence.
