If I signed for a year it was only 10000, I tried for a few days mate, to get a condo, many asking crazy prices 20000 up, honestly the best place to find a condo is Facebook Market place.
Thanks to you we now learned that you can get a retirement visa through agency without worrying about bank accounts etc. They handle everything (ie they put the money 800 k baht to your account and take it back once you have the visa. Great vid thanks Webbs

My advice mate, get travel insurance before you leave your country, I got 3 months , funny enough j ended up in hospital yesterday cost me 1200, to see doctor and get cream. I'm going to sort my medical insurance out next month, I'll make a video on it

Hi mick, I will always give honest answers, I bought a one way ticket, when I got to bangkok immigration asked me how long am I planning on staying in Thailand, my answer was im never going back to the uk, she looked at me and said oh you want to find a Thai wife, with a smile on her face stamped my passport and said welcome to Thailand. The rules have changed now mate if your over 50 you can come to Thailand on a one way ticket.

Not at all mate I've been to get them the bike is 110 and the car is 200, the paperwork from immigration was 300 for each paper. Getting the license was so easy just a colour blind test, red yellow and green

I've been in pattaya since 2021mainly pratumnak and jomtien but at the moment staying just opposite from the visa place shown in the vlog in south pattaya the cost is very similar you find places that are good value in each place street wise jomtien and pratumnak are cleaner and less congested .
I held a Thai license 17 years ago in NE Thailand but when I went to renew it, there was an introduction of a new depth perception eyesight test which I couldn't pass. Did you have to have that test in Pattaya?

That's not true to open a bank account on your own, they make you buy insurance for 7000, also it was my first visa, next year the visa is only 12000 like you say, I keep my money in a UK bank account, so the 800000baht you need for the visa, gives me £900 a year return
What do the police think of the international drivers license? Some people say you can use them, others say the police will grab their morning coffee break funds from you. I am confused.
International Driver "Permit". The licenses sold on line are bogus. Usually you get them at select legit locations b4 leaving your home country. Like post office or AAA.

No mate, can't go into it on here, but you just need to go to the visa shop, pay them a fee and they will sort it all out for you, I'm going to make a video the next few days about how much I've spent in a month to the baht, think I'll explain the visa process, maybe I'll ask the owner of the shop to explain it all
300 a month for electric and water, you sure, my electric last month was 690 baht,that works out about £17 I've asked 3 times to pay my water, and they said no charge 😳

Not much difference for a brand new one. I bought a Honda wave brand new from a Honda dealer. 50.000 baht. Including 2 helmets jackets insurance and warranty.

Generally after you sign a new rental agreement. For a year or more Because then you are stuck. Lose money and move out or pay. Any chance of thai's making money they will. Good luck to you. Hope it doesn't happen to you. I'm just sharing an experience and ive spoken to other expats and the same has happened to them

I went to bangkok myself they wanted 7000 said I had to have insurance, and go to immigration, the visa was the cheapest by a mile mate it's my first one retirement visa, I went to at least 10 agents, as for the girls I don't take any at all from the bars don't need to, in the 2 months I've been here only bought 3 lady drinks, and they was for a friend I've known for years, I'm honestly spending 60 % less than I thought I would . If you paid 16000 for a visa, that's really expensive, the visa agent I used charges 12500 for every year after the first, and don't charge for the 90 day report 🙄 Thanks for the message anyway, maybe have a beer sometime.

100% I would use the same visa person as I did some places were given silly prices

Good advice. Do your research before you come. And I would avoid driving a Motor bike in Thailand if you can, so dangerous.

The condo is in pattya South, its a walk away from the craziness, but its really quiet where I am, the condo is city garden towers.
