no one is hunting them, the people are destroying the forest, the habit they live so they don't have a place to go, also this animals are not the brightest, males abandon family and live alone, and they are very territorial that's why they can't survive long. Male dogs and male cats can live with their offspring, that's why they have more chances of survival.
