Played in the 15 today for the first time and damn are they good. I experienced no heel slippage and the shoe performed perfectly

Played in the 15s, and no heel slippage. Pushing your foot all the way back before lacing the 15s helps for better support and lockdown
love my kd14s, i wouldnt survive long sessions without them.
Do kd14 good for teens?, And is it good for outdoor?
@@darrielfarrellino9756 it's good for both but after about 6-9 months the bottom of your shoe will have less grip if you do use it for outdoor
My homie and i went out and got shoes, i picked up the 15's and my homie picked up the 14's we played the next day. from my experience the 15's were perfect and so comfortable and didn't make my feet hurt and this is coming from a wide footer, traction was great as always. My homie liked the 14's said they were perfect, better than the Jordan 36 which's bubble had popped. we only play once a week and the following week we went to play he barely played 3 times, had said his Achilles and ankle area were hurting and he was limping. kept telling him he should have gotten the 15's

Are the 15's still holding up well? Good shock absorption, comfortable and no pain?
I'm guessing the foot pain is due to the constant compression of the Zoom Strobel, which is forcing your feet to constantly stabilize and that could cause some muscular or other issues. It's similar to wearing very mushy cushioned shoes for a long time. Your feet will eventually want something more stable/firm.
Thats weird i play on asphalt and the 14s are the only shoe ive played in where i feel basically no pain or soreness after prolonged play
@@Tanmanhologram I'm sure there are other variables at play here like foot shape, age, past injuries, etc. Think of it like food, some people tolerate some food better than others for a bunch of reasons. If it works for you then great 👍
Same problem here. Played kd14 for 3 month. Pain in my backfoot. I didnt realize where the pain came from. It began in my left foot, after 1,5 month then in the right. I send the kd14 back. I see it in the last video of sammy, that he has the same pain. And some other guys wrote about it in the comments. Ich bought now the PG6. For me better.
What is with the kd15? Are the sole the same as the kd14? Could you say, same pain in the foot??

I got the KD15 and they are so comfortable, like they are designed for my feet (went true to size)
I'll take anything other than ortholite, also the mold insoles work the best with zoom strobals, atheist for me it feels amazing once broken-in.
i have the harden vol 6 pg 6 and the kd 14 all size 14.. KD 14 fit me the best i have a wide foot.. the hardens is way too small at that size and the pg 6 is a big narrow in the toebox for me. i prefer the KD 14 size and the cushion. i can play for hours without pain. however the other 2 hurt right away. ill probably need a size 14.5 or 15 in the harden and pg 6 great review
Im actually considering buying one of those 3 shoes lmao. Harden vol. 6, kd 14/15 and pg6. Which shoe has the best impact protection/shock absorption? I'm going to use them for volleyball, so I will be doing lots of jumping to my max

It's like exactly the same shoe but without the strap.
I also experienced slip in KD15. KD14 is perfectly fine for me. I tried to change my kd15 and go half size lower but the heel slip is still there especially when driving towards the basket.

Same! I noticed it in a couple closeups in other performance reviews but only Sammy and one other reviewer outright mentioned it.

i have both and i wouldnt recommend the 36s because i experience no l9ockdown in them although the bounce is good. In my opinion the 15s
I love both the 14 and 15, but weight is one of my biggest factors. I guess I will never get past the Kobe 8's and 9's....
This is my biggest complaint the KDs feel so heavy.
@@jimmymcgill5572 I went ahead and got some Kyrie 8's. The one's in black and red. They are so much bulkier and heavier than the Kobe 8's and 9's. I'm not sure I can make the transition....

I came down off a rebound and the 14s bottomed out on me in the heel. almost got hurt.
I know I shouldn’t be playing outside in hoop shoes, but all indoor courts are kinda hard for me to get to during the day.

You are probably too young to generate enough vertical force while running, resulting in the form not compressing to its vertex . For reference I weigh 205 lbs and the shoes I wear have tons of compression marks..

No, done that from the start and it causes no problems. It is a bit of a pain in the ass to remove tho, try not to cut the shoe itself lol

I mean, the strap definitely gives slightly more lockdown on the shoe, not really sure how anyone can debate that. It wouldn’t be there if it serves no purpose other than aesthetics.

i was wearing the kd 12 for yeaes no feet issues. then had the 14s for few months had heal spurs and my achilies was hurting due to the insole part digging in my achlies. also feels like it bottom iut super fast..
The 14s do bottom out pretty fast man. I changed 3 pairs during this season. But a great performer overall for me, that's why I stuck with them
