The Captain of my salvation has promised and assured me (a) He will strengthen me for the conflict in which I must engage. (b) All who will gather warmth from the coldness of others, courage from their defections, and loyalty from their treason, will triumph with the third angel's message. (c) Now is the time for me to show myself true to principle. When the religion of Christ is most held in contempt, when His law is most despised, then should my zeal be the warmest and my courage and firmness the most unflinching. To stand in the defense of truth and righteousness when the majority forsake me, to fight the battles of the Lord when champions are few-this will be my test. At this time I must gather warmth from the coldness of others, courage from their cowardice, and loyalty from their treason. For these reasons, I have nothing to fear except I forget the promises of God and how He has led me in the past. Here I stand I can do no other, so help me my LORD. Amen
