  • Another one of these videos lol but with even more exotic and ethnic instruments. This time with some basic descriptions added so you can actually learn something!
    Some notes:
    1. The Vuvuzela (at the end) is only tuned to play one note at a time (I mean, it doesn't have any keys or holes to change its pitch, so that makes sense) but with the power of MIDI, I can make it play Rush E (which would be physically impossible with a single instrument).
    2. Some instruments go out of their playing range because I was too lazy to adjust major parts of the song for them to "fit", and yet again, the power of MIDI lets me just ignore all of that and make most instruments play almost all pitches (even if it would be physically impossible).
    3. Now that I watch the video after rendering it I realise that the Erhu is just a regular violin sound, lol... oh well
The sounds are from MuseScore 4's "MuseSounds" and "Musescore basic" sound libraries. Most of the instruments aren't present in the MuseSounds library so most of them will be from Musescore's basic one. I didn't do extensive research on what the instruments actually sound like (though I know what most of them sound like decently well anyways), but it might still be off from the real deal anyways. (I mean, that's kind of impossible to avoid when working with MIDI).
The song is Rush E composed by Andrew Wrangell of ‪@SheetMusicBoss‬
