I barely understand Hindi, but you explained it so well with an excellent example- Better than most blogs and English and even my professor. This was greatly helpful in my Networking class. Like and Subscribed right away.
Make more videos bro.. excellent explanation... We search lot's of videos but when we find you.. never go anywhere... Even colg professor can't explain like this... Thanku
You can make video longer to explain path and resv in detail. Also, please mention that RSVP is a signaling protocol, not a routing protocol, so it cannot work in isolation. RSVP needs an IGP to work - what happens is that IGP selects a best path and tells RSVP that this is what I have selected. RSVP checks if IGP path is suited as per it's requirement. RSVP can use ERO(Explicit Route Object) to check if admin has mentioned some path. In 2 cases, the RSVP rejects the IGP path - one case, where there is some ERO value, 2nd case: if required BW is not guaranteed. Then RSVP tells IGP to check next best path. This process goes on until the best path in terms of both routing & BW is selected. It is now that a LSP(which is unidirectional) is formed, and if all parameters are ok traffic is made live on this LSP. And yes, RSVP considers only 2 IGP - OSPF & ISIS.
