Absolutely amazing, Thankyou so much. This fix saved me around $1000. I had just purchased new toners and drum thinking they were the issue. Came across this fix and tried it. Printing is working perfectly now. When I put everything back together I ended up getting a 54.2 error, and think possibly I didn't seat one of the components back in the right position. Pulled everything apart again and took more care in putting them in the right position, and error was gone. Thanks again, you are a bloody legend.

If black is coming out fine, but color prints come out with this pattern, it looks like you might have a bad develop release assembly (either the sensor and/or the clutch). Basically, when making a color print the develop release assy is SUPPOSED to start and stop the color cartridges at the appropriate times to produce a crisp image. If the assy is bad, they just keep spinning and depositing toner on the page. so i had the same issue and I was able to fix it with this video thanks mate

to be honest, I don't think this method would work. Until I don't have any option. I sent this to the shop and they could not find the problem.
Hence, I tried this. It may look hard but actually took me about 35 minutes burden.
Then I hit the demo page.. Bam!!! good as new.

Brother, this printer gives a demo or test page very well & clear, but the print from photocopy and computer is very weak. What could be the reason?

Problem was resolved by technician and I think he changed the imaging drum and some adjustments to the photo sensor. it's ok now.
