I’ve got one of these bought it a few months ago it’s a 2022 SX Prestige in sapphire blue my first brand new car and it’s by far my favourite car I’ve owned
I REALLY wanted a Genesis GV70 but the Genesis / Hyundai dealers nation wide play too many games with prices. I settled for a 2023 Kia Sorento X-Line SX-Prestige and I'm very happy with the savings and how the car drives and looks.
I have 21 Sorento SX, new body old emblem. First reason to buy one would be the look I have red on black, second reason is the powertrain warranty, third reason warranty on Wheels, rims, Windows, seats and infotainment etc. Forth would be reliability. 5th would be technology you're getting a ton of technology compared to some of the other vehicles in it's class
Does it have front sensors because only when you go on reverse the sensors beep and jot when you go forward and another thing does it have steeringwheel heating?
My wife and I compared the Telluride, which we love to the Sorento. My wife has graduated past the minivan phase and wants something smaller. This fits the bill and has great bang for the buck.
Ok I’m pretty sold on Kia. Love the features the space the interior and everything above it. I plan getting mine at the end of the year or next or the Carnival love that model to.
it 2.5 Turbo second seat ( captaine chair ) they have heated chair so it a lot + the sorento different then the santa Fe it heat your leg too it a ++ like try to give more stuff about comfort and other it a good video ! thank you !
My granddaughter just purchased the new KIA Sorento SX. She chose the Wolf Gray with the blacked out package and Ivory leather! She and we LOVE it! It’s a great vehicle!
The warranty problem of Hyundai and Kia is that most of the dealerships don't want to take responsibility, and WON'T repair your vehicle under warranty. Very poor customer service. And what is the most absurd is that the bad customer service starts even before you buy the car from those dealers.
Consumer Reports gives the 2023 model a score of 45 out of 100, due largely to transmission problems. I test drove the Sorento a couple of days ago and really liked it. But the reliability problems will lead to either big repair bills or lower resale value.
@@jimmy5634 Many people drive well over 100,000 miles. But even if the failures are still under warranty, unreliability is a problem. If you’re stuck on the side of the highway 40 miles from the nearest town and have to pay for towing and motel bills, or can’t make it to work on time, a warranty is scant comfort.
Just can't be so Picky on colour/Trim. Just walk into a larger Kia Dealer and ask what Sorento's are on their way. Don't expect to order one and get it. See what is coming and see if it works for you. I have a PHEV on order for over a year now, but needed something sooner, so checked what they had coming in and walked away with a EX+. Wil lkeep this one till the PHEV comes in (probably another year). I am also in Quebec.
Never buy a KIA car ever ! The engine has a well known flaw that will fail normally right after your warranty is over no matter how well you have maintained it. The main bearings will fail causing the engine to jam-up. Worse is KIA has not address this problem and so letting its customers to bear all the damaged cost.
Your wide fov is throwing the true lines of this vehicle off.
Thanks for your brilliant observation.
Good review. Been seriously considering this car. Appreciate all the in-depth info.
I've been considering this vehicle, this a great quick yet in depth video.

Just purchase a 2023 Kia Sorento SX Prestige Hybrid and I love it. Driving around town and have not put gas into the car for over a month.
How much was your sorento?
Wow
how much oil does it burn and how many transmissions did you go through?

Thanks, that helps. I'm serious thinking about purchasing this vehicle.

nice!!!
Love the blacked out look, does the PHEV SX prestige come in that trim?
They should’ve made an option for split bench second row.
There is one not sure what series, it has captains seats in the second row. The only con is you lose 1 rider with this option

I just hate there is no wireless Apple CarPlay
It’s standard on the base model.. wtf
is this 4wd?
I’m looking at this car too vs Highlander. What is the reliability of these?

I mean ur comparing it to toyota...kia is known to have trans problems but do more research
@@cargopilot747 big repair bills?

這車型有進台灣嗎
Looking into the process of getting one this week
I just got the S model. I was going to get the Telluride but it was just way out my price range. TheSorento for me is in a class by itself anyway.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Just purchased one the prestige package
Do you recommend that package??

Purchased new 2023 SX same color and wheels. Fast 0 to 60 at 6.7 seconds
how much oil does it burn and how many transmissions did you go through?
Is there a sun roof
Yes
What about all of the bad reviews with the transmissions and engines?
I’ve heard the same thing about Jeep (my previous vehicle) and Ford Escape (that I also once owned).
Nice suv, but if someone don't know anything about this suv, u could have given a little more detail about it, Hw just saying
1 reason not to, kia doesnt sell any 😅 I ordered a sorento xline in quebec, canada like 6 months ago and no news

The only reason I will own a Kia/Hyundai, sell it at the MSRP, not 20% above that.
If the Us dealership continues to do that, it’s just helping Tesla.
There is not a single dealer (all brands) in my area that sells over MSRP. So not all do
Wow got motion sick looking at this vid. Dude slow the camera motion down. I could see anything clearly.
I had a 17 Sorento that was more spacious than new one
😅😅😅😅
