20:05 Gamma is control a monster, but Maxx C being negated by Gamma won't destroy it as its in the GY for cost, so its not in its activation location, so it's actually completely safe until you either misclick to summon it or Labrynth destroys it in your hand (but you can just respond with it in that case)
I'm in the mood for some CHEETOS. Sure, we're not having that hard of a time *now,* but we could always use more undustable cards, and I'm sure we're going to start running into harder opponents eventually.
it'd be really funny if the Maxx C got immediately sniped by a Lovely Labrynth. also, about the Link Starter, most of the cards it has are normal Cyberses and like, generic non-effect Links or Links that don't do a lot. the best cards in it are probably Decode Talker and Rasterliger, which is Accescode at home. i kinda don't wanna give it to you, because i feel you already have access to too many undustable cards, but i also wanna see you summon Rasterliger, so Cheetos
Cheetos, I am all for making the most use out of ALL of the 'Free' cards Master Duel throws your way. Even things from the Story Modes, like the World Legacy Reborn spells, The one Monster Reborn, the ONE Rageki, and "You're FInished!" Nothing there will ever actually break the climb, and they make for a silly kind of 'staple' to pad out decks.
I feel like eater of millions would be an amazing card for the lower ladder/early series. And it would remain solid for most of the journey. I just thought I'd recommend it as a generic card to pick up or craft. A gren maju deck would be a really fun route to go. Desires is only an SR and you can build it budget pretty easy but it has tons of room to improve with dangers and Kaijus. I know you're far from constructing a real deck but if the stars align that's a direction I'd be really happy to see the series go. I'll watch and enjoy whatever you do or build though. This series is awesome. You're great Joe. I look forward to this every week. You're the highlight of my RUclips experience.
Cheetos. While it might seem very powerful in silver, I'm pretty sure once you reach gold it doesn't matter how many starter decks you have. So take it, why not?
I like Wandering Mummy and the repeatable non-FLIP flip monsters as dated as they are; Medusa Worm, Stealth Bird, and Swarm of Scarabs/ Locusts, those ones which activate on flip summon and can flip themselves back face down. They're silly and not that good even for old yugioh, and since they keep flipping up and down your opponent knows which face down is what, but Wandering Mummy shuffling them when it flips face down gives it an actual niche which is pretty funny. Undead homie just getting a little lost looking for their Cheetos in the dark and making everyone fumble around the room looking for them.
Cheetos. I expect that this is going to get very, very rough later down the line. Take the advantages you're given early, because you will need them later.
Had a thought. Does gamma need to be played around when using Maxx C? It is discarded to the gy as cost so it cant be destroyed if its already in the gy (at least thats what i think)
Timelords are actually a pretty good idea. Indestructible by battle and card effects, they basically ignore the rules of this challenge. Also, Cheetos.
Cheetos, I have a feeling this is gonna get *ROUGH*. I like that you have some indestructible cards to form a base pool as strategy critcal pieces get destroyed, and you can key off that pile to build new strategies as you pull cards that risk being killed. Also, thanks for the good times as always Hardleg!
A few secret pack suggestions: Swordsoul: my best reccomendation. some of the cards are kind of useless without a bunch of them but theres some great generic high rarity cards as well as some low rarity cards like swordsoul of taia and strategist longyuan that are one card synchros. worst case scenario you get a bunch of wyrm stuff that might compliment the tenyis. Dragonmaid: The dragonmaid engine can be very small and low rarity, so it might work well for this. The pack also has alot of generic dragon support, and if you roll into a bunch of starry knight stuff hyonzaryu is a normal craft i guess lol. Naturia: very high roll but the naturia synchros would be a good pay off for the earth synchro stuff. theres handful of decent N/R like cosmobeet, pineapple, cherries and sunflower but they can be a bit less generic. honorable mention armed dragon pack, it has alot of awful awful level monsters but theres a handful of cards that are great support for luster dragon. and if you want to go all in on luster dragon turbo dragunity guisarme is a normal craft that summons it from grave lol
Cheetos, I don't think it will have that much of an impact, might make it a little easier now, but I doubt it would make that much if any difference in the later ranks.
Next time you have UR points, one card I would recommend crafting is Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Chaos. If properly summonmed, it has destruction and targeting protection so is very hard to get destroyed, I think the opponent has to have forbidden droplet, otherwise is safe.
Since there are a lot of times where you simply don't have enough crafting points to craft a card after winning, how about some small alternative prize. For example, getting to do a solo mission (not the whole line, just one of them), since there are also some cards you can only get there as well).
That blue-eyes bystial player was frustrating to watch because he clearly knew more about modern YGO strategy than the average silver V duelist... but he made so many weird plays. The worst was banishing white stone with Druiswarm during your main phase when he could have had spirit of white for free in the end phase, got rid of your backrow, THEN got Druiswarm out on his own turn.
So that’s why it was a saying a video was hidden in the deck devastation playlist last night 😂😂 I was watching this series curious when it was going to return
Cheetos please, those are still cards you can fall back on if all else fails. Also at this point it's best to just build a karakuri deck if you can,at least it is something that has a gameplan, which for lower tiers is good enough lol
I was upset that you gave up on the punk/karakuri deck so quickly. You already got the payoffs in amazing dragon and the karakuri synchros. You basically only need to just gather the NR engine requirements to make them work, and craft the SR cards needed.
I am an arbitrarily colored triangle enjoyer, but I gotta say Cheetos. It lowers the floor you can fall to just a little bit. And it doesn't change the choice to replace safe cards with more powerful dustable cards.
cheetos. take it and maybe create a rule about solo mode cards as well for the future like if you say lose X times in a row you get to clear 1 "level" and keep all the cards given, probably doesn't change too much, you would also unlock a secret pack from the solo mode.
@@JorgeLuiz487 Yea It can be quite powerfull was mainly meant as an example and thats why 1 wrote X times aswell, of course setitng X = 3 means basically getting everything from solo mode eventually, setting X = 10 now its not that powerfull and may never happen unless he intentionally starts losing or has all ready lost all his good cards
Cheetos. Don't think you really need it, but this challenge is more about keeping rescources than accumulating them. That's the biggest difference to a masochist challenge. You already allowed one of the starter Decks, so you might as well allow the rest. This isn't like with the actual structure decks were you actually get yourself a playable strategy, but it will be a bigger safety net should you unexpectedly lose all of your main cards.
Like most people, I'm for Cheetos. Because why the hell not. The cards are mediocre, but they are cards you might need at some point Also as someone who built a Timelords deck with almost every account I made for this cursed game: They're really good to make on a budget because a lot of them are N/Rs, so you find them more easily in their secret pack.. supposedly. Though getting the Rank 10s would be difficult unless you craft them
Cheetos, it is good to have a half okayish couple of cards undustable aside from the random dragon stuff, plus rasterliger and acesscode can win some games one day
Cheetos. I like the puffy kind, but also a free starter deck isn't gonna change much. It's like going into the dvd bin they used to have at Wal Mart. I call it the trash bin.
I would argue magic cylinder does in fact change the game state....especially if you attack with a monster that has higher atk than your own lp...then the game state goes from currently playing to you lose
Cheetos frfr. I don’t think it has enough good stuff to really make a difference. Edit: Did Joe pull the Musky Ted? And not even give him a mention? Wild
"Armed dragon, the armored dragon" Isn't a redundant name as armed means it has weapons and armored means it has armor. It sounds redundant but it isn't.
I feel a bit like a traitor to my favorite chip by typing Cheetos, but I don't see a reason to outright refuse free stuff. At least keep it available as an option in case you need the cards later.
I’m a hater, I’m a Dorito’s truther, I’m concerned about this series getting a bit too easy. I know it’s hard to say bc like… this type of series will start slow, but at higher ranks it’ll snowball and we’ll be struggling a lot more than we are now. That said, there’s enough cards that can’t be destroyed easily combined with the undustable staples that I worry the stakes might not ever be too high. Just given that the series this is somewhat based on, Masochist, feels SO uphill, and I’ve yet to get that same vibe here yet. Again, we’re in early ranks, but still, the challenge is the fun part and I wanna ensure we have it
i think it would be fair if called by counted as destroyed. kinda like "oh you think you are gonna survive? absolutely fking not." mainly because i feel that it could become too easy if you just craft a ton of handtraps that are hard to "destroy". just to add at least some risk at using them aside from exactly gamma. also: imperm and the bundle nibiru and ash still exist so its not like you wouldnt have any handtraps at all even if every handtrap monster gets destroyed. thoughts? edit: Cheetos.
Dunno if you'll see this, but I've been following the vods, and I think it would be a good idea for you to go for Swoso since you already have a lot of the cards you need already, and it'd be cheaper to build than Lab. If not full Swoswo, it wouldn't be bad to craft Taia and Longyuan for Synchro plays since I believe they're only R rarity so very cheap
I'm considering it. The big problem is MoYe. She's a UR and with everyone playing Imperm it's easy for her to get stranded. That, and I can't use Blackout at all because it destroys.
@@HardlegGaming That is true, though you can potentially dodge out of it with Heavenly Dragon Circle. Well, whatever you decide on, I wish you luck and hope the series does better. I've been really enjoying it so far

Cheetos. The cards might be indestructible, doesn’t really help if they are bad
Cheetos, I want to see a completely undustable deck with crazy staples
Literally impossible
Cheetos. How few cards you get to dismantle holds you back more than enough.
Cheetos.
You might not need it now, but you will eventually
