See how Muslims impose later Shariah principles into Qur'anic translations (#06)

  • We now move into the 11th - 14th mistakes which Muslim translators have made when translating the Qur'an into English.
These mistakes are all created by the translators who to create or re-define Arabic words in the Qur'an which are already in the Islamic Traditions, but now need to be found in the Qur'an to give those traditions credibility.
Thus, they are all intentional, yet not linguistically appropriate, and even at times deceptive.
    11) Surah 6:106 - "Follow what has been 'revealed' to you [Muhammad} from your Lord". The word in question is "Wahy", which in this verse is translated as "revealed", or "what is revealed", assuming that Muhammad receives revelation from Allah.
But that is not correct, since the word 'revealed' in Arabic already exists...it is "Kashafa", which looks nothing like 'Wahy'.
In Surah 19:11, the word "wahy' exists as well, and here the translator translates it as "signs", which is the correct meaning.
In Surah 6:112, the word "wahy' is found again, and here the translator translates it as "whispering", or "inspiring". He dare not translate it as revelation, because it is referring to Jinn, and how can they be given revelation.
Thus, while 'wahy' means 'hints, or cues, or signs, or even 'whispering', it does not mean 'revealed', but had to be used by the translators to give Muhammad more authority as the one to whom the Qur'an was revealed.
    12) Surah 2:168 - "O mankind, eat of that which is 'lawful'..." The word is "Hallal", but nowhere in the Qur'an is there a term for "Lawful".
In Surah 20:27 this word simply means "remove" or "untie", or "to make free", so that mankind can eat freely.
The Muslim translators needed this word to mean Lawful, to help them with their Shariah indictments which are in the traditions (SIN), and so they simply mistranslated Hallal to support that need.
    13) Surah 11:91 - "We would certainly have 'stoned' you..." The word is "rajam" which here is used in later Shariah law to support the stoning of adulterers.
In Surah 15:34 the word 'rajeem' refers to being cursed, or expelled, which is the true meaning for this word.
So the earlier verse only refers to being expelled from the clan, not stoned, but the translators needed a Qur'anic reference point for stoning to give credibility to the practice which was introduced later on in the Standard Islamic Narratives.
    14) Surah 3:115 - "They will never be 'denied' the reward for any good deed they have done". The word is "kaffar" which in this context refers to denied.
In Surah 4:31 the word 'Kaffar' is translated as "absolve", or "remove" as in the context of removing or absolving one's lesser sins.
In Surah 2:152 the word Kaffar is translated as "ungrateful" or "deny me".
Yet, in Surah 3:91 it is translated as "those who disbelieve", and is synonymous with those who are unbelievers, which has become the popular term for non-Muslims today.
But linguistically this word doesn't mean that at all, but means "absolved, or remove, or ungrateful, or deny', which can all pertain to Muslims as well.
So, it seems that the word "Wahy" does not mean 'revelation' for Muhammad, but really means 'hints, or cues or signs.
The word "Halal" doesn't mean 'unlawful' at all, but really means 'make loose, or make free'.
The word "Rajam" doesn't mean 'stoning at all, but really means expelled, or cursed.
The word "Kaffar" doesn't mean 'infidel' at all, but simply means 'absolved, or remove'.
In all four cases the translators were looking for words to introduce these ideas from the Standard Islamic Narrative into the Qur'an, and so mistranslated them all in order to fit their agenda. But linguistically, once you compare the same word in other places in the Qur'an we find quickly that not only is what they have done incorrect, but it is dishonest.

Excellent! Islam is shariah, and shariah is at best only loosely based upon the vague, incoherent Qur'an. Cracks me up when critics point out something nasty in Islam, and Muslims immediately yelp - "Show me in in the Qur'an where it says that!" They think this pathetic little dodge is actually clever.

You may have heard the following argument from Muslims: “The Quran is written in the Arabic language - a language that is so rich, so eloquent, and so luxurious. But if you watch the video, you will see that he is not trying to say that he knows Arabic better than other Arabic speakers, he is simply comparing the same word in other verses in the Qur'an and showing that in every case the translators are not only being inconsistent, but they are purposely mis-translating those words because of their agenda which they are trying to impose onto the translation.

If two people gave two different accounts of the same thing contradicting each other, then at least one of them is wrong or inaccurate.

    3. There are christians who claim Jesus is both God and son of God.

    Which is accurate?
These are all major contradictions in the religion. Different factions occured since after the time of Jesus.

The earlier idols (false deities) were statues erected of pious people of previous generations.
These people were later wrongly prayed to and taken as deities.
These type of misguided beliefs of taking humans as deities or gods exist in pagan and polytheist religions, past and present.
A human taking another human as a deity or God is falsehood.
It makes absolutely no sense for a human to pray to (worship) another human.
Deity Incarnation where a human is believed to be a deity or God coming down in this world as a human is among the misguided claims in pagan and polytheist religions, past and present.
Claiming a human is God manifest as a human is among the misguided claims in pagan and polytheist religions.
Claiming a spirit in a human is a deity or God is among the misguided claims in pagan and polytheist religions.
Claiming God having sons or daughters is among the misguides claims in pagan and polytheists religions.
All that I mentioned about idolatry, pagan and polytheist religions you can look it up online including from their own sources.
The misguided belief of taking Jesus as a deity or God is against what Jesus himself believe and taught. It is against what all the guided prophets that include Noah, Abraham and Moses believed and taught. It is against the foremost of the religion which is the first and foremost commandment.
Abraham did not pray to Jesus which is a man's name.
Abraham did not pray to three persons.
      God is not a human
      God created humans
As great a human Jesus is,
      he still is human.

The one God who sent Jesus is the same one God who sent Noah is the same one God who sent Abraham is the same one God who sent Moses.
      Jesus did not send Jesus.
      The one God sent Jesus.

In fact the term "disbeliever" does not exist as such in the Quran (obviously since the Quran is in Arabic :). The term used in the Quran is "kafir" كَافِرٌ (plural "kouffar" كُفَّار), and this term means "the one who covers" (root k-f-r: ك-ف-ر) implying the one who hides the truth while he knows it, and it is a constant reproach of Islam towards the "people of the book" (i.e. Jews and Christians) who know the truth but deny it in particular by falsifying the texts (Torah, Bible and Gospels), and therefore in addition to being unbelievers they are hypocrites and "deniers"

So ... are you OK with Surah An Najm (53) where attempts to allegedly remove verses where Mohammed started worshiping the 3 daughters of Allah must have been a bodge job, half-done. As in Allah approves and praises Mohammed for seeing an angel being (he sees it twice) who tells him to consider Allat, Manat and Uzzah (the 3 daughters). He's not approving of Mohammed rejecting this as a fallen angel with a deceitful message, rather He's praising Mohammed. [Of course would be interesting to see Murad's translation, but it must have been the narrator having some iffy vision]. These verses should not be in the Quran, if it actually is in heaven, on tablets made by the single Creator, since He should not have 3 daughters.

    Murad is not educated.
In his first example he commits the fallacy of equivocation.
This proves that he doesn’t even know the basics of linguistics.
This guy pretends to be a linguist.🥴🤣

He is a Coptic Christian. He believes his God became a baby. He is traumatised. Muslims are logically destroying the incoherent Christian religion. He can’t theologically challenge Muslims.
He has to make these poor videos. He hopes he can turn people away from Islam with his cheap propaganda videos.🥴🤣

Can you show me a scholarly linguistic source for his made up criteria?
