I believe I have this problem. Parked my van yesterday, no problems. This morning I got “service transmission” & “service glow plugs” warnings and it won’t start, won’t even click or turn over. Seems disabled. Hopefully this is my problem. The likelihood that multiple issues would magically appear overnight is pretty low. Problem is, the van is on a really busy street. Not good for DIY.
@@rpmgarage5848 thanks for your reply. I did that and the problem persisted. Thought maybe was a battery issue so I tried a jump start. Still didn’t work. Made plans to work on the grounding issue but decided to try to trickle charge my battery overnight just to make sure. The trickle charge fixed it. The battery must have been at just a certain voltage to give weird warnings. So, yeah, for others, make sure you have a topped off charge before moving on to more difficult fixes.
This video saved me money. The dealer said change t'mission cable and shifter control module and give them $900 to install them. Since I didn't have that kind of money. RUclips university to the rescue. Thanks again for this video.

Hey great video thank you so much! Took the driver side light assembly out to access that body ground point. So easy seeing I have to replace that bulb so often🤣😐

The ground wire connection is not enough for the motor and burned 2 alternator and one stater
Can the ground connection be reached easier by removing headlight assembly as opposed to removing wheel well cover?
@@mfitzpatrick1617 yes
So a good ground wire, cable rather from engine ( or transmission bolt ) to a clean spot on frame ?? Thanks !
Yes my I use the bolt that holds the stater I had on the transmission and wasn’t enough connection !
Do you have a link to a cable that you would recommend? Or a recommended wire gauge? Thanks!
I will forward the info to you tomorrow I’m way from that information today
